The room was very narrow, but I was really happy with it regardless. I was traveling solo, so didn’t need much. The bathroom faucet sticks out oddly close to the edge of the sink, so it splashes on the floor when you wash hands. No bid deal, just kind of funny.

The very reasonably priced room had a birds eye view of the boardwalk, beach, and ocean… with a balcony too! The listing said sea view, and I took that with a grain of salt. But when I arrived i found it was about as good a sea view as anyone could ask for. It wasn’t just from the balcony itself, but from inside as well since the door and window to the balcony are all glass. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very good, with staff on hand to make coffee drinks or provide whatever. The hotel itself is well maintained and on the modern side, which I liked. They also rent bicycles, which was great. What a great value!

The hotel elevator reeked of mildew. It was the only place that I detected mildew but it was an instant negative. I had booked a single room. It served and everything worked. The bed was comfortable and bathroom appliances were modern and worked very well. It is a minor quible, but I wished the room had been just little bit wider.

The location is super. The hotel is on the major promenade with access to beach and to a wide array of cafes and restaurants. All staff are engaging, helpful and friendly. Their English is better than my Italian so we went with English. The reception area and breakfast areas are lovely. Food is plentiful and the atmosphere is nice.

Great location, upfront the sea side. Friendly staff. Tasty croassants on the breakfast. Bath supplies including tooth paste and tooth brushes (in case you don't have your own), also slippers are available.

Hotel has very good location. Staff is hospitalier. Responded quickly to all our requests. Only breakfast could be more diverse, there are no vegetables. At least plum tomatoes could be offered. But the breakfast area is on a very nice roof terrace. It's not the hotel's fault, but the only problem is the lack of regular public transport in the town of Viareggio. The distances are large, and it is difficult to walk everywhere by foot. It is a 25-minute walk to the train station by foot. The coast of Liguria is beautiful, wide, but unfortunately, even at the beginning of July, I didn't come out to enjoy the pleasures of swimming, because all three days there were such big waves that I couldn't swim normally. The beach has been turned into a business. Three chairs, one sunbed and a umbrella cost at least 25 euros per day. It is ungodly expensive. For that price, you should have a leather bed with a canopy. Good, but too expensive to go regularly to Viareggio to relax. In addition, you can buy a variety of vegetables, fruits and berries in just one place in the town. It's sad. Near the train station. However, near the beach, there are a lot of brand-name shops with very few customers. Ice cream shops offer delicious ice cream. Exaggeratedly high prices in restaurants. Only at the port can you enjoy a wide range of fish at an adequate price. Viareggio beach is a beautiful place, but one that you can only visit once if you haven't won money in the lottery. There are many other places where I can get the same for a more acceptable price. But the location of the hotel is perfect, and the promenade is so wide that public meetings could be held there.

The room was not that well lit. The bathroom is very narrow.

The hotel is a street away from the beach. The breakfast was on the terrace which had an excellent view. Ask at the hotel for recommendation on what beach to rent the reclining chairs to get the reduction.

The air-con didn’t seem to work so our room was quite warm - we asked if we were able to take a towel for the beach and we weren’t allowed, this would be a great extra with them recommending the beach across the road

Well priced stay close to the beach. The breakfast was good, which had yoghurt, fruit, cereal, cold meat variety, bread & pastries. The hotel staff is friendly and helpfull. It can also be used as a base to go for day trips to Pisa, Lucca etc.. using the train.

We had booked this hotel for the sea view. However, the window was high, so you couldn't see the sea from the room (bed). Also, there were no table/chairs on the balcony. In short, yes, when you step onto the balcony, you see the sea. But don't expect (for example) balcony where you can sit with a bottle of wine to enjoy the view. Furthermore, the toilet had the smell of old urine.

Average hotel, price-quality ratio is fine. Located on the boulevard with various restaurants within easy reach. Breakfast is decent with cappuccino prepared by the bartender and delicious cream croissants.

- The hotel has some weird breakfast policy where you have to stand there and tell a waiter what would you like from their buffet. It works really poorly and takes a lot of time. Would be much better if you could use the buffet on your own like in all other places - Our room was really small. Especially the bathroom, we barely could fit there. There even was a problem with towels placement as there were not enough hooks or horizontal surfaces to hang or lay them - Hard to operate shower cabin. Either we were too stupid or too weak to use it. - No free water like stated in the room description. There was some water in the mini-fridge but there also was a leaflet nearby saying that water from minibar costs money. - (somewhat negative) The closest free beach is 15 mins away by foot

You have a breakfast on it in the morning but then can use it all day if you want. Great to bring a bottle of wine and enjoy the view/sunset with your partner
