Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

You really need to car for this hotel. It’s an 18 minute walk to a bus stop and then two buses into town.
Clean. Comfy beds. Lovely breakfast.

The location is convenient for transport by car only. Public transport is far away.
The accommodation was good, the room was comfortable and well equipped, the staff was kind and helpful. Great parking facilities for cars.

Some of the amenities were on the short end. The breakfast wasn't too diverse and some of the things didn't get refilled even 30 minutes before the end of the breakfast.
The room was spacious and clean. They had parking available and helped us to book taxi when we couldn't find an Uber ride. The service in the bar was great.

Its location is terrible if you do not arrive by car for which you need to pay extra. You can also have hotel transfer for which you also pay a lot. The breakfast was disappointing. The plates were not refilled unless you arrive early in the morning - which you do not want to during a vacation. We missed the variety of vegetables, breads and sliced food like salami, ham, cheese. Eventually we had to go out and have something elsewhere.
The hotel is really beautiful. The room was really big and well equiped. The bathroom was amazing and unique. It was surprising - but in a good way - that the room had two entrances, one to the parking lot and one to the hotel itself.

Not against the hotel itself, but hotel is far from a Metro to the city center. Bus / Shuttle Bus available every 1 - 2 hours though, or else it is a 20 minute walk to the nearest regular bus-stop which connects to a Metro station (through a road which is not safe for pedestrians) - great location if by car though, with a park-and-ride only 5 minutes drive away. tea-coffee facilities in room come at an extra, but charge was reversed upon checkout; Mosquitos; Hard beds.
Large, spacious rooms, extremely clean and tastefully furnished. Very quiet and secure. Good breakfast.

The location was unfortunately the biggest draw back with poor access to transport. Relying on Uber/taxi got expensive.

The elevator wasn't working properly. The location is dreary. There wasn't a door between the shower room and the main room. It smelled of cow dung outside.

The beds and pillows were extremely hard. My family all complained about back pain the next day. The 50 cm descent into the sloped floor shower is very precarious and a potential liability for the hotel. People must have fallen before. I almost did. The night stand lamps can only be switched on and off together, which is annoying as my husband wanted to sleep (lamp off) while I was reading and wanted my lamp on.
Nice clean hotel. Very pleasant lobby, surprisingly upscale restaurant, clean room. They took us for dinner even 15 min before closing.
