The lady in the reception, blocked my visa. Before we arrived, she holded from visa then price of 1 night, almost 500€. When we arrived she released that amount and holded the total amount for our 3 days staying, plus 300€ for warranty. I asked her why you do that? And she answered: this is our policy. I told her that is weekend , and the bank will not turn back the 500€ until Monday, and you kept me 800€ from my card without asking , when I am in a foreign country. The answer was, that is the policy and she gave us 2 free glass of wine at the tarrace. At the check out, I told her to release the 300€ , but she didn’t hear. She released the total amount plus warranty, and asked again from visa the amount of 3 nights without warranty. At the end, my bank thought these movements suspicious and blocked the card. It’s unbelievable! I haven’t seen this again in any hotel, ever. I asked an invoice for my company, and she didn’t know how to do this. I’m still waiting.

Building. The infrastructure was pretty bad. This is partly because of Rome infrastructure is not amazing probably. For example, while we stayed there, elevator stopped working for a day, the initial room assignment had horrible sewer smell but the staff changed our room immediately and later we didn’t have this problem, the fire alarm went off for no reason, and electricity went off in our floor once, the bathroom ventilators didn’t work some days.

We booked this hotel mainly trusting a bit the Hyatt name and overall booking rating. But disappointed compared to other Hyatts we have stayed. Overall: Price we paid for value is definitely too high. I would rather pay a little higher and go to a better hotel. For example last year I booked another Hyatt in Paris, it was much better quality, location and about same rate. Overall, the hotel looks more like a 3 star, 7.5 rating Booking Quality. Teras Cafe/restaurant is very good. We spend a couple of afternoons there. Breakfast was ok, our last year comparable price Hyatt breakfast was much much better. Staff. Probably the best part of the hotel was the staff being very accommodating, kind and helpful (I would say only sign of Hyatt level quality). I would say 9 out of 10. Room. It was small, compact but relatively new and feels like recently renovated. (With caveat regarding building). Location. It is not too bad but not the best. I would say 7 out of 10. It feels like side of the center and cheaper districts next to the prime locations.

You can't chose your neighbours :( people kept pushing and pulling their chairs, sofas in the middle of the night, but that's not the weakness of the hotel. Maybe a very cheap felt pad protection for the legs of the chairs would be a solution to this problem.

We had a small shower leak in the room, but not a show stopper or major that can’t be fixed. Breakfast area is less than average and the breakfast food was average.

Great property and very nice, modern, comfortable and clean rooms. In a quiet part of town that is close to the action but just far enough. Coupled with a rentable scooter and you’ll be very happy location wise. Also many nice authentic Italian restaurants nearby and fabulous rooftop restaurant opened majority of the day with good food and drink, friendly staff, and a wonderful sunset view.

Lovely, clean room and en suite. Good location to the main city, train station and attractions - only 10-20 min walk which is good to be away from the crowds and noise on an evening. Roof top bar and view was amazing and an added bonus to see the sights of the city.

Nice, classic 4 star hotel with agreeable and elegant rooms, friendly staff, and a nice roof restaurant. Close to Via Veneto, which is a great hotel and restaurant street, close enough to the city centre and hot spots.

Place was super clean and staff were always available to help and super quick with any requests. Asked for a mini surprise for my partners birthday and they did not disappoint. Whenever we asked for an iron, extra towels or for our room to be cleaned it was done immediately. Can’t praise the place enough. A tip, most hotels in Rome have very weak water pressure, not this one!!! Bathroom was great!

they change my room three time on my stay. I found small hair on the bad daily. last night on my stay, I order food through DELIVEROO, the receptionist kept the room there without contacting me unless I called her.
