loved the room and the location, was close to town and a few temples. the onsen was nice as well. they sent us a happy birthday bottle of champagne and a card, they were very kind. we had a sea view jpanese style room.

The japanese style rooms are nice and well equiped. The onsen is not in the open so more similar to a shared hot tub, not great but still worth it.

We really enjoyed our one night stay here, but as it was Golden Week, we paid quite a bit for our stay. The hotel decor is pretty dated but everything is clean and doesn’t feel drab.

We loved this hotel as it was very close to the ferry terminal, was in a quiet back street and had great views. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed using the onsen facilities. A very good option for a family of 5 staying in one room, which can often be difficult to find.

Breakfast was traditional japanese, which is certainly one interesting thing to do here, but it definitely is not for everyone's taste.

Very nice and elegant Ryokan in a wonderful location in Miyajima. Wonderful view of the village and the sea. Very nice traditional style bedroom with tatami. We used the spa and it was very good. Dinner was in Kaiseki style and was an interesting experience, with some good dishes. We were provided with traditional clothing during our stay.

Beautiful traditional hotel. Our room was spacious and the views from our window on 6th floor was looking over the sea and theTori gates spectacular view. Staff were very obliging.Dinner was good traditional Japenese style .with many courses. The location was convenient to temples and Mt Misen rope cable. Great cultural experience.Slept on traditional futons on the ground but had table and chairs by the window.

The room is very big. We enjoyed the spaciousness even though there was not much furniture. Staff were helpful and friendly. The island is beautiful and love the bustling food streets. Wish we had more time!

The hotel was very well located within walking distance to ferry port and main sites on the island. The staff were lovely, hotel was quiet, clean and very welcoming. We had half board. The food was excellent but advise having only if you are happy to eat everything and like seafood as it is set menu with lots of fish. We enjoyed it and our children made a good attempt.The onsen was very clean and quiet. Room was Japanese style with futon. Very spacious and comfortable and we had a nice view of the sea. Everything exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful time.

Large, traditional apartment with private bathroom in great location. The hotel has a great public bath, but if you have tattoos you have to cover them up to use it. Yukata available in the room so you can walk around the hotel. Very nice and helpful staff.

All in all, this is an very good ryokan for its price range and location, though the public spaces seem dated.

This is a reasonably priced ryokan, with excellent service and very good breakfast and dinner. The rooms are much larger than the typical ryokan room, and we had plenty of space for four friends traveling together. The bath is OK, but not spectacular. The decor in the lobby and dining rooms is a bit chilly and overly ornate, but the hallways and rooms are lovely. The location is great for Miyajima sightseeing.

This is the way to see Hiroshima and surrounds. The seafront area on the island is massively busy from 10 till 3. So wander there before and after and see the island in a way the other tourists don't. Get the launch directly to the peace park, travelling against the hordes. The hotel staff are a delight. The rooms are large, slightly careworn but comfortable and traditionally characterful. Be aware that almost everything shuts after the tourist exodus each day.

We were welcomed by very friendly staff and even though we were a few hours early, our room was ready. Everything was walking distance from the ryokan so very convenient. Food was good but a little too adventurous, like welks and snails. A lot of fish, even for breakfast.

For the price I was expecting some more luxurious details. Everything is kept to bare minimum. Be ware the restaurants stop accepting orders at 7:30 pm. Most cafés are closed by 5 - 6 pm.

Miyajima is a very nice island definitely worth staying over for sunset and avoiding crowds. The hotel has a very nice atmosphere and decoration. The room is large and well decorated. Breakfast was 100% Japanese and excellent.

Personal boutique hotel. Service was fantastic, very helpful. A traditional hotel, a little different for us sleeping on the floor but it was a fun experience as a family. We also did their traditional dinner. It pushed us out of our comfort zone, wish they explained a little more about the dishes and the order to eat them, but we had a great time and the food was good. Thank you.
