Facilities are a bit worn-out and require an update or maintenance. Example: all slippers in my roon were torn.

All okay. Some aspects a bit tired and dated but clean enough and comfortable.
Fabulous location. Close to train and bus stops. Restaurants near by. Wonderful onsite onsen enjoyed at end of each day’s exploring.

very good position from all stations, tobu one in 2 minus and JR one as well. Coffee, the and beverage free from 6Am till 10 PM. The hotel has a good restaurant, and if you are not in summer season most of external restaurant will be closed. Good spa area

The big room we booked don’t have queen size bed (only twin size)
Close to the station. Amazing customer service, everyone in the dining area (breakfast) are so caring to our toddler. Good simple breakfast. Spacious room!

Great location! It's right by the subway and main bus station, and very close to Downtown. We really enjoyed the location. The staff was very considerate and helpful.

I would have liked the hotel restaurant to have more choice of food

Directly across JR Nikko station, hotel allowed luggage to be stored on day of arrival and day of departure. Breakfast was OK yogurt, fruit cocktail, small salad, breads, hard boiled eggs, curry, tsukemono, & beef broth. Wish they had miso soup.

Location idéal, right across from train station and bus stops. Staff was very friendly and helpful in arranging a taxi for us one evening. Onsen on site. Room was large , western style . Quiet and comfortable

Only thing I wasn’t keen on was the breakfast but it was free and I am quite picky so really it was a minor thing .
This has a great location - opposite the JR station and right in the centre of Nikko town so you’re very close to shops , restaurants and cafes . I thought the rooms were great value for money as they were a decent size and had a bath with Shiseido shower gel/Shampoo & conditioner ( which I really appreciate after a long day of walking ) . The beds are firm ( love that too) so I slept well in the quiet rooms . The hotel also has a very nice onsen with a good sized rotenburo ( open air bath) which was nicer in many of the fancier hotels I’ve stayed in . The hotel has quite a retro air which I quite like as I’m not keen on hotels rooms in shades of black and grey . There’s a fridge & in the room . Rooms come with a yukata , there is plenty of skincare amenities ( cleansing oil , toner etc , lotion ) near the front desk perfect for when you want to travel light and don’t want to lug a ton of products for an overnight stay . Staff are helpful

Excellent location, near to station. Room is big and face a nice view of the town. Breakfast is quite comprehensive, love the curry rice. Only feedback is lack of microwave to warm up food from combini.

This hotel could be magnificent if they replaced the stained rugs in the rooms and upgraded things like the towels. All in all, though, I would stay there again.
