How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The rooms are small but it seems like the standard to most places in tokyo
The hotel is walking distance to subway station and about 10 minutes walk to tokyo station where you get bullet train to other places in Japan. There are a lot of restaurants and convenience store around the area as well. Complete ameneties and helpful and friendly staff

Lovely comfortable hotel close to peace park and very accessible within the city. Enjoyed the bar area and it was a nice touch to have some gifted coins for drinks/snacks. Easy check in/check out - would definitely recommend. Restaurant downstairs also good, efficient and friendly staff, a little pricey but enjoyed it.

The check in process was a bit unusual. Rooms are small (but probably standard for Japan). Beds were quite hard for us personally.
Good location for main trains. Room was small (probably standard for japan) but clean. Laundry was good. Reception staff were polite and spoke reasonable english

Breakfast, the food could really do with some lighter options, even just toast, there were only 4 choices. The dish i had was good, but it was way too much to eat for breakfast, i wish i’d know this before paying for the included breakfast.
Clean room, great location for sightseeing, lots of restaurants nearby.

Not used to such small rooms, ok for one person but I struggled with not being able to unpack as I was staying 9 nights and there was no drawers or closet had to store suitcase between end of bed and window
Location was excellent so easy to get to Tokyo main station and yet didn’t hear any noise, lots of restaurants and food available really close

I liked most of it👍🏻☺️ A tad far to walk to the station as I use a Walker and just catch Go Taxis everywhere ☺️
Initially, I had a tiny room and I had difficulty getting in and out of the deep bathtub 🛁. The staff kindly changed my room for Disabled guests on the 2nd floor which is close to the laundry, vending machines and microwave 👍🏻 for an extra charge. Staff was fabulous and helped cancel a massage booking for me. Also, has a Foreign currency exchange machine and can change Y$10,000 into Y$1,000 notes which is handy.

The room was super small and it was impossible to open the suitcase (only on the bed). I arrived one hour before check-in time and the room was ready, but was shocked that they charged JPY 1,000 for that hour. Never had that in a hotel.
The location is just a few minutes from Tokyo station and other metro stations away, but in a more silent neighborhood. They store your luggage for free which helps with sightseeing.

The single room was small but very clean and comfortable. The Japanese breakfast was excellent. I chose the ginger rice bowl, which was very flavorful. The three other options looked wonderful too. The hotel is just a few minutes away from Tokyo station.

The room is a little bit too small.
This hotel has 2 train stations nearby...within kyobashi station(5 mins away)and takaracho station(1 min away). The train station has direct trains to the airport. So there is isnt a need to move heavy luggages around. They have good basic amenities too.
