Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Dominican RepublicThe bathroom is very small. We stayed for 7 nights and they explained they were not going to clean the rooms but they had a schedule for us to take out the trash and they delivered clean towels everyday. The breakfast was the exact same everyday. We only enjoyed coffee and croissant the most. The breakfast was very poor compared to the other hotels we stayed in Japan.
The hotel is very well located. The Nihonbashi train station is a few steps away which is very convenient to go around Osaka. The rooms were confortable. We got two rooms next to each other as requested. There are a lot of restaurants and shops near by and vending machines inside the hotel.

QatarThe exit from subway doesn’t have lift so you have to carry luggages to go up or down the stairs. There is no microwave in the rooms but you can ask the reception to heat food for you if you need to. The staff are nice even if there is a language barrier since they don’t speak english.
The rooms are clean and on standard size for a solo traveler. Very near to the Subway Yotsubashi Line, though it’s not in the Namba area it’s still not that far away if you like walking. The neighborhood is calm and quiet which I wanted. There are konbini and restaurants nearby for a meal and snack run.

JapanMy one issue would be I would've liked some fresh sheets. If you stay more than two days, your room won't be cleaned. You still get fresh towels, but by the end of my stay I had a pile of towels in the corner of the bathroom.
The property is great, the room is a solid size, he bed was extremely comfortable, shower had excellent pressure and the wi-fi was solid. The location was superb, extremely close to the Higobashi metro and not too fair from Yodoyobashi too, and there is a 7/11 and Family Mart meters away for your Nanachiki or Famichiki needs, also, there are an excellent handful of restaurants that are even closer!

BrazilThe room itself was clean, but the bathroom was not that good, it had mold in the drains and also the laundry was kinda dirty too. But it was the only bad thing about all the hotel, the rest was super nice.
The location is very good, it was super easy to go around. It's also close to many restaurants, which made it easier to have dinner without going too far. The staff didn't speak english, but they made a great effort to communicate with me and they were very nice!!!

Canada- the shower curtain had (old) mold on it (room 804), previous patrons probably didn’t run the fan long enough, but it should be replaced with a new one - the sink hangs over the bath more than other hotels I’ve been to so it might make the bath feel smaller but that’s not something you can change. - the receptionist (an elder gentleman) running the front desk 10/26/24 @ 7AM did not tell me to write down the date of luggage delivery for the next hotel. Only the TIME for delivery. So here I am in the Kyoto hotel panicking over my missing luggage. Luckily the receptionist in the Kyoto hotel checked online and it will be delivered to my current hotel next day instead. I wish the receptionist at Welina had been more attentive, I did mention it was my first time sending luggage.
- Room has a wide hallway, can easily fit a 158cm suitcase. - Hotel is close to a subway station. - Breakfast is simple but delicious - Bathroom is clean and faucet is modern, new towels given daily - water kettle is provided but it’s pretty small (0.8L max) - first hotel I’ve seen provide a lid for the cup, but there’s no tea bags in amenities, they do give 2 free water bottles though Off note: the bed frame is very easy to move, I accidentally pushed it twice so if you need a little more space, just push it against the wall.

It was very clean and modern. Perfect basic and comfortable room. Perfect location if you’re on a business trip for Naganoshima area.

Taiwanthe self coin-laundry room were busy in the evening. if you're planing to use those facilities, you would need to leave more evening time for them. The dryers would possibly spend your time more than you plan.
1 min walk to bus stop which you could transport to the Osaka station. 3 convenience stores, include 7-11, lawson and family mart, are located around the hotel. 5 mins walk to Nakanoshim. This would be the hotel I would revisit if I'm traving back to Osaka.

The trash bin doesn't come with trash bags so I have to go to conbini and get one. 5. Saw HSK staffs put PET bottles trash bags together with the same elevator that guests are taking.. not so good.
