The room isn't very soundproofing, you can hear when people get in and out of their rooms, and sometimes speed racing at night. I would be more appreciate if they could hand-in the Wi-Fi password when checking-in not until I asked. The AC wasn't working well as I adjusted the temperature.

With modern interior, the room was nice and big as well as the washroom, everything was clean and tidy Great location, I can easily walk to restaurants around in about 7-10mins and it would take about 15mins by tuk to any attractions in Colombo. The staff are ready to provide any help if you ask.

The staff were helpful, the food at the restaurant in the same building was tasty, the coffee was great. Location is close to many attractions either on foot or via tuk tuk.

The room was spacious and the staff were friendly, the area surrounding the property is safe as well. When i requested something the staff immediately helped out with that hats off to the boys working. Will be coming back.

Took long time for room to be cooled from air conditioning and missing bug screening next to shower window (no window to close). Also no hand soap.

It was on a more peaceful area and you felt generally safe about the surroundings. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Nice lobby area.

The bedroom was was tough to lock from the inside. There was no soap/bodywash given.

I stayed 2 nights at fern bnb. The staff were pleasant. The location was a little far from anything e.g. lotus tower was 2km away. The area itself didn’t have much to do, its more of a relaxed area away from the chaos of pettah area for example. The hotel had a number of cosy European style cafes near by, which made getting a coffee or food quite accessible. The room only came with shampoo, no body wash or soap was available. The air conditioning was good. I found the bed comfortable. The shower was alright, its nothing i would personally complain about. The windows i notices were double glazed, which helped with noise, you could still hear noise on the street though, but, when its nighttime traffic mostly stops coming down the street, so i didnt have any problems sleeping. The place has a lift which helps with accessibility and luggage. To sum up, the hotel was ok, no major complaints. Though, i probably wouldnt stay in cinnamon gardens again if i were in colombo for a few more days— as theres really nothing much going there. Id say its a 6.5/10.. nothing special, but it got the job done. The price is probably slightly too high for what it was.
