Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The camp and the view were beautiful. The rooms cozy and clean. The staff was very friendly and went out their way to satisfy our needs. We had a car problem and they did everything in their power to assist us. Great local dinner and amenities. Would 200% recommend!

NetherlandsRather expensive, total 450 euros for 1 night including a camel ride, lunch and dinner for a 3 bedroom tent.
Very friendly staff, good food and comfortable tents with all facilities. Great experience during dinner with a show. High quality food and they even make a fireplace in front of your tent. Lovely swimming pool with beds to enjoy and relax. It takes 35 mins from the main road to get to the camp.

United KingdomThe pillows were too big and hard and the bathroom in the tents weren’t great (v small, no hot water in ours and shower curtain/design meant water all over floor). Wish the camels weren’t tethered together on our ride but think this may be the case for all operators in the area.
The meal at night and Berber show were fantastic - it was the best Moroccan meal we had (25 euros per head). The swimming pool was very nice and they organised a camel trek for us (35 euros pp).

LatviaEverything was perfect.
We had a great time in Agafay Pearl camp, night in the desert is an experience that nobody should miss. Tents are comfortable and spacious, we used air conditioner to heat up the room in the night. Views are just amazing. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We also used transfer service to get to the desert and it was on time, car was clean and comfortable.

United KingdomDoesn’t have their own dinner with show set up.
The best views of Atlas Mountains from our tent. The tent experience is awesome, with all facilities. I would recommend to go for Green tent which has the best view and private space. Manager Aziz was always at your call. He has arranged good dinner with show at Le Bedouin, which was excellent. He also arranged Came ride + Quad ride 👍. Their staffs are good, especially Uthman, who was very supportive. The breakfast is average. They have got a nice common pool, but no heating. The dining area is the best for magnificent of Atlas.

Had a fabulous stay at Pearl Camp and was the perfect end to our trip after a few busy days in the Medina. The views including sunrise and sunset are incredible. We went out of the quad bikes which the kids loved. The staff were all lovely and attentive and the communication was great in the lead up to our stay.

CanadaEverything from start to finish was exceptional! The facilities are well-kept and they have lots of activities to offer. The food was delicious for lunch, dinner, and breakfast. The show during dinner was lively. The staff is amazing! So friendly and hospitable. We stayed in a very large tent with a sofa and plus each tent had its own private outdoor campfire. Overall, I would highly recommend it!

United KingdomWe wanted to sit out for a bit round the fire after dinner, but it was just a couple of logs with no spares or stoking implements. As it was early February (very cold at night!) this meant the fire gave off very little warmth so we had to retire to the tent early. We could possibly have gone to find someone to get more wood, but it didn't seem worth the walk back to the staff area. Maybe a small pile of logs nearby would help that?! It would also have been nice to have a bottle of water and glasses ready in the room, but they did bring them as soon as we asked.
Lovely, peaceful location looking out across the desert to the Atlas mountains. Pool area looked very nice but we didn't use it. Tents were clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the views from the tent were great. Staff were pleasant and helpful - although sometimes when you asked for things they insisted on bringing it to the tent when it would have been quicker to wait and take it ourselves! Dinner was very good and plentiful. Wifi was a bit patchy, but that's hardly surprising out in the desert, so only to be expected.

NetherlandsThere aren't many facilities in the room itself and it is quite remote, but then again, it is a lot more fun to just be entertained by the staff instead of couping up in your room/tent.
Honestly, it is my most recommended place to stay thus far, and I've been in a lot of places! The camp was so beautiful and remote within the mountains, and all of the staff was incredible. The tents are very fancy, exactly what you would hope from a luxury camping experience. We both aren't camping people, but this was amazing and exceeded all expectations. First of all, the pool and lounge area was very lovely. Secondly, the evening entertainment was amazing. The staff played traditional Moroccan instruments and performed traditional dances, all whilst a beautiful dinner was being served. My wife is gluten-free due to allergies, and they even provided for her to have gluten-free bread. The dips were super fresh and tasted incredible. We were given 3 tagines, one chicken, one beef and prunes, and one vegetable, all were absolutely amazing. Then after dinner we had a lovely fire outside under the stars. In the morning we were served a delicious breakfast again and because I was feeling unwell from the days prior to coming here, they especially made me an herbal tea to feel better. This was a once in a lifetime must do experience. I would love to come back here for some fun and relaxation!

SpainThere are a few minor things that need fixing. At the end of the day, you are paying well over €120 euros a night for a tent and a few aspects of the accommodation could therefore be improved-there was a huge crack in our bathroom basin so for 2 nights water fell through onto our feet each time the basin was used. The shower curtain is placed too high and close to the ceiling. As a result shower water splatters down the inside of the plastic curtain and instead of going into the shower tray, it lands onto the wooden floor, next to the tray, which is regularly soaked and slowly deteriorating as a result. A call button inside the tent would have been useful rather than the several times we had to go looking for staff but could not actually find anyone. All that said, we did not want to harass the staff about small things. We did mention the sink to the manager when we left and he said he would have switched us to a different tent if he had been told earlier but we did not want to move. We loved our tent! Our stay was tremendous and despite the fact the place is not QUITE as luxurious as it appears in pictures, everyone was lovely and trying hard to give excellent service in the middle of the desert! We had a very memorable stay.
The Pearl camp is run by a dedicated team of smiling local men who do their utmost to be helpful. The view of the Atlas Mountains from the dining area and from our personal tent was breathtaking. We took a camel ride from the camp at sunset and have never done something like that before. It was exceptional and well-priced and we will never forget it. Food was pretty good considering that it’s a good 45 min away from ‘civilisation’. Our personal bonfire set up at night time by the team, a safe distance from our tent was magical. The pool was clean and beautiful. Cleanliness of the camp was good. The staff put extra touches like the shape of 2 birds kissing made of white towels on the bed with scattered petals. Very sweet! 🥰

NetherlandsOne downside was the beds, which were quite firm and a bit short, making them less comfortable for taller guests. The heater/ventilator made quite some noise and because you sleep in a tent (no brick wall), you can easily hear the outside noises. But for us this was all not a problem and expected.
We had a truly special and memorable experience staying in a really nice tent at Agafay Pearl. The location is stunning, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making our short stay feel extra special. We had the suite tent which was decorated perfectly and clean. It even had a smart TV and a comfortabel and clean couch. Although we didn’t book any activities as we were only there for one night, it was the perfect amount of time to unwind. The service was great, the food surprisingly good, and the entertainment enjoyable. The limited number of guests added to the tranquil and intimate atmosphere. The team went above and beyond for our birthday celebration with a lovely cake, showing great attention to detail. Overall, a fantastic and unique experience in a beautiful setting—highly recommended!
