Few details that can be improved namely changing of towels and cleaning of the rooms. Although is located in one of the most “posh” areas of Tangier if you don’t have a car it can prove a bit difficult to get taxis .

The Dar Tanja is a beautiful hotel set in tranquil surroundings. It really felt luxurious and was the perfect setting to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle.

There was a issue with the hot water and we didn't have people to help us out late in the evening. A number to contact would have been nice!

The hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The things we liked include the spacious room, the food at breakfast ( and dinner too!) and more importantly the friendliness of staff!

Absolutely everything! Such a wonderful place. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive. Restaurant (we had dinner)...and breakfast were very good. We arrived very early (8:30am) and were able to check-in...and were offered some mint tea and cake upon our arrival. WONDERFUL!! Thank you!!

Our room was located at the end of the corridor, outside the main building, which was a bit disappointing. However, the balcony offered a lovely view that somewhat made up for it.

The house is beautiful and feels like a private retreat. The breakfast is enjoyable, and the owner, who lives there, is very welcoming. The small private hammam and massage were relaxing and enjoyable.

It's hard to come up with anything that was unpleasant🤭

We had a really beautiful and big room, everything was clean and functional. the yard, common facilities and swimming pool were really nice and well maintained. The neighborhood was beautiful and safe. There was also a large hypermarket and shopping center and several restaurants within walking distance. Getting rides to other areas of Tangier was surprisingly easy and the employees helped with getting rides if needed. All the employees we met were very nice positive and professional. I will definitely come back again when I return to Tangier.

The hammam spa ladies were very expensive when compared to other similar experiences in Morocco.

We liked the pool area, the facilities in the hotel, the area, the security, the location is near the gardens, short taxi ride from the beach.

The blind curtains in the rooms do not make the rooms completely dark which may be an issue for more sensitive sleepers.

As always, my stay in Dar Tanja was wonderful and rejuvenating. The property is very beautiful and well taken care of by a professional and friendly staff. Beds are comfortable and rooms clean. The atmosphere is calm and invites to relax.

The space was just beautiful--the gardens, pool area, spacious rooms. The hammam was reasonable and well done. They set us up with a guide who provided tours of the area and Chefchouen that were both reasonable and excellent. The food was fantastic and the staff were all lovely. Top rate!

1. English was a challenge 2. Power went out disabling the credit card machine. Had to go to atm to pay them. 3. Bathroom supplies small bottles were not labeled. Was challenging to use.

Small, homely, clean and highly personalized. Food service was great. Dinner choices and prep were nice. Bfast was included in price and very well made. Enjoyed the stay.
