Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOur booking was with Urban rooms and the entrance area was a bit tatty. Swimming pool was actually across a main road and was not exclusively for hotel guests. Breakfast provided in main hotel restaurant. No facilities within the hotel to shower if you had a late departure.( this could be done at the swimming pool)
First impressions were pleasing. Use of swimming pool. Breakfast provided. Secure storage area for luggage. Roof top bar had amazing views and a free welcome drink was provided. Close to the Valletta ferry and plenty of local buses. Plenty of eating places within 5 minute walk.

SwedenWe stayed in an annex to the main hotel. The room was nice and the location was very good. It was right in the middle of the street where there were plenty of restaurants. The amenities was very nice, the breakfast was a wide spread. There was welcome drink which we didn't get to have though. The bus station and ferry station is all within a minutes away.

SerbiaIt's presented as this is a hotel, it's not. Rooms are in a building next to a hotel, where you have access to breakfast and other things, but still it's not okay.

PolandUrban Rooms are in a separate building, not in the main hotel, so we had to go outside and get to the main hotel to have breakfast. The good thing is that it’s no far.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and nice. It’s close to Valetta. The bus connection is very good.

SpainThere wasn't any hand sanitizer at breakfast. We asked for some and a lovely waitress searched for some but couldn't find any. I overheard her asking a supervisor about it, and the supervisor said that there isn't any and that the waitress should NOT go get more. Pretty strange, especially with the amount of coughing and sneezing people touching the same things at the breakfast buffet. We had to go get our own hand sanitizer from our room across the street.
Friendly staff, great location and spacious room.

SerbiaScore nine only because of breakfast, which could be more varied, but still okay. Everything else was beyond our expectations. Staff was exceptional, huge thanks to Sandra and guy from reception, who was there for our every question, and lady who kept our room perfectly clean every day. All recommendations!!!

United KingdomStaff weren’t friendly on arrival. They could have smiled and been more welcoming. Be mindful the lobby/breakfast area, pool and hotel rooms are 3 different locations, it’s not as pictured. The pool area is across the road and the rooms are up the street.
Great location, short walk to Sleima, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, supermarket right outside. Pool area is amazing, lots of loungers

IrelandThe warm side of the breakfast could be warmer, and the sausages for breakfast shouldn't be cocktail hot dog sausages, but grilled butcher pork sausages. The hash browns or the rashers were not warm or crispy, lovely scrambled egg though.
The cold food breakfast selection of great choices like artichokes, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals nice fresh rolls and delicious pastries and danishes etc.

TurkeyThese rooms are in another building than where you check in and after seeing the nice reception, going in the other building was a disappointment. The lift was quite scary as it was quite old and shaky. One day a repairman wanted to come in to check the bathroom while we were in the room even though we didn't have a problem. I thought it was weird. We informed the reception about it.
I liked the location, both in the centre and out of the way at the same time. The breakfast and the restaurant were nice. The reception staff was kind and helpful.

NetherlandsThe access for Urban rooms is from a building behind the Hotel 115 Strand Suites, but the reception is at 115 Strand Suites so you need to do some back and force, especially to access the pool as you need to request a voucher at the reception to access it. You need to cross the road to access the pool, which I didn't read before coming. Also, it is not accessible after 18h (because it is used for the restaurant). The breakfast options are limited and not of very good quality. It misses fresh fruits and more sweets options. The croissant and pain au chocolat / pain au raisin, were not fresh. The elevator is extremely slow. It is eventually faster to take the stairs. In general, the room was clean, but some details need to be taken care off in the bathrooms (faucet not fixed, corner of the bathroom with mold...). The hairdryer did not work in one of the room we had.
The location of the property is very nice and close to the ferry that go to Valetta. Also, you have easy access to all the boat for day cruises in Gozo, Comino... etc. The reservation included a taxi ride from the airport which is very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also provided us with an early breakfast when we had to leave early for our flight.

United KingdomWe had a few issues and there’s a few things to point out. It’s a tall, thin building therefore there’s only 2/3 rooms on each floor with the lift in between, walls are thin so you can hear the lift easily. There’s a kitchen and terrace on the top floor, however there wasn’t any outdoor furniture and the jacuzzi didn’t work (don’t think it has for a while?) Air con is built in to a random part of the room, close to the kitchen area and not on the bedroom so it got hot in the evenings. To be honest, I think the building is misleading and the rest of the building looks a lot more rundown than shown in photos.
Room was as described in photos, free breakfast and pool were a bonus (pool is only a 2 minute walk from where we stayed) Basic but good amenities, very friendly and helpful staff! It’s right opposite a convenient store with all kinds of necessities. About 10 minute walk to get to the ferry for Valletta, the location is good.
