IrelandThe room 7026 had a musky smell when we entered, and we left the window open to try and get rid of it, but it was always there. The bedroom was very stuffy, the aircon was very loud and the noise of the elevator located beside the room made it difficult to sleep.
Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, we had the sea view room and the View was spectacular. The pool was well maintained l, although very cold but it's May.

NetherlandsRestaurants are a bit pricey. The floors and rooms are confusing, you take different lifts to the same floor and it ends up in different areas. Then you need to open another door and take stairs down again, and you are technically still on the same floor.. In case of emergency, take the stairs...we could not find the stairs!! Maybe sometime some stairs but not all the way down. This must be improved to have clear signs. Our room smelled a bit like moist... Wifi 5/10

United KingdomOn our first night we struggled to sleep because of a lot of noise, I think caused by the air con units on the roof.We were directly below them and also next to an old noisy lift. To me this didn't fit the description of a deluxe room. We spoke to reception and they moved us to another room which was fine. The sofa beds were fine for children but could do with replacing as a bit broken.
We had a lovely room with a terrace with lovely views of the Church and down to the sea, We were a family group and the Hotel suited everyone. A Spa for older members and the children particularly loved the pool area. The location in Mellieha was perfect. The small kitchen had everything we needed.

SerbiaFood at the Cave bar is really disappointing. First day when we came and checked in, we went straight to the bar for the views and food since we were hungry. Chicken Cezar salad was anything but that, just boiled pieces of chicken unsalted and my husband pizza - classic Margharita with boiled eggs on top (?). Also I paid for room upgrade 70€ and I sincerely doubt I got an upgrade since we got a room by the pool inside without a view of the church and sea, and people are right in front of your terrace everyday on the sunbeds, so no privacy really on that level. Also after the breakfast one day, my husband took two bananas and didn't eat them at the table but carried them (for a minute later snack) and the manager or lady that carries about the buffe check in's almost started to yell "No food outside, it's written all over the restaurant, everybody knows that. Put the bananas back" 😂 I was in shock!!! I mean OK we'll put the bananas back please don't arrest us... Ofc we know not to bring the food outside and we were always polite and quite and normal (not like some individuals) and I wasn't going to bring eggs, sandwiches or cakes outside or eat them in the halls of the hotel, but just a banana. I mean, that sole incident made my experience terrible, I felt like a criminal. My husband was embarrassed, but I was not. I was enraged... Oh and yes by the way, kids can take whatever they like outside inside, can take all the fruits outside when they finish breakfast, but my husband can't 😁 Everything else was fine, but this experience was just that much unpleasant that it made my holiday at Pergola a little uncomfortable.
The receptionists are amazing, bartenders amazing, rooms good and clean, everyday cleaning and towels changing is amazing, breakfast was good (always the same) but good, the spa is small but OK, Cave bar is also a caffee with an amazing view. So I pointed out everything that was amazing :)

It was everything really nice, staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Aniket and ranjith who attended us in the cave bar. The room was clean and tidy, inside pool warm and comfy.

United KingdomNot getting room that I asked for after emailing pool lighting not on so doesn't look like the pictures the cave bar miserable woman there said do i want to eat i said no as just had breakfast she she said I had to sit somewhere else. That was a problem as no table and chairs to sit on only sunloungers outdoor pool freezing put a foot in and that was that. The lift system is crazy annoying like a maize of lifts the staff at breakfast watched your every move 2girls like hitlers no smiles watching and ready to pounce on your plate do not get a village room as you will be facing another block and the steps only

United KingdomThe location was fine for us as we had a car but if you had to walk it was quiet hilly and a good walk.
On arrival the receptionist was very friendly, the check-in was organised and our room was ready when we arrived at 11am. Our room was bright, clean and spacious. We went to the cave bar for lunch and a drink and the food was lovely, it was tasty large portions and hot, again the staff were very friendly.

Very nice overall, the staff were consistently helpful and friendly. Reciprocal arrangement with a neighbouring hotel means that guests can have access to a heated outdoor pool if wanted.
