The breakfast is continental, and you only get one slice of bread. If you ask for more, they charge you for the extra bread and even add a service charge, despite us staying at the hotel. The prices are ridiculously high.

Free parking but the lot is always filled so there is jockeying of cars to get in or out of a space. There is a nice attendant. We also had to move scooters parked behind us to get out. I feel like space could be better utilized.

Loved the quiet. LOVED that music speakers were prohibited at the outdoor area. Cute room, good restaurant. Small breakfast but nice fruit, breads, coffee and fresh juice. Beautiful beach.

The room on our first night appeared not to have been cleaned, judging from the shower floor.

The food was delicious and the service excellent, personable and accommodating. The vibe was very laid back, which suited us perfectly.

The room with a mezzanine and stairs was a little unpractical with our one year old.

Wonderful breakfast and food though the service was a little slow. My husband suggested I use it as a tool to bring my own internal pace down and chill! The views are superb Lovely hotel and surroundings. Hammocks, swings, sand and palm trees, a beautiful shala to practice yoga. Paradise!

THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS ON OUR LAST DAY THERE A GROUP OF 34 PEOPLE (LET ME REPEAT THAT: A GROUP OF 34 PEOPLE) CAME TO THE "BEACH CLUB". BEING A SMALL RESORT THAT MANY PEOPLE TOOK OVER THE AREA AND THE WAIT STAFF!!! I DON'T THINK THIS IS FAIR TO THE CLIENTS WHO HAVE PAID ALOT OF MONEY TO STAY THERE!!! WE WERE EXPECTING A QUIET AND PEACEFUL STAY AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN EXCEPT FOR THAT DAY!! I HOPE IN THE FUTURE CASA VIOLETA WILL BE MORE THOUGHTFUL WHEN ADMITTING GROUPS!!

Amazing location on the best part of Tulum beach (quiet zone 5 min walking from the party zone). The rooms are stunning and completely immersed in the nature. The breakfast and the food in general is so good!! Cannot recommend more! In my opinion the best in Tulum! Grazie mille a Giampiero and the staff !! They are all super nice and friendly

The beach bag and laundry room bags are in the room to take, but they do not tell you that if you don't leave it in the room upon departure, they will charge you $90 for the beach bag and $25 for the laundry bag. They should put a note, that these items need to be returned to the room.

Due the weather (lots of rain) and humidity and no a/c in the bungalows, the bed sheets, towels etc felt damp.

The food was incredible and everyone was so friendly and kind. Yoga in the morning was wonderful and the setting was perfect.

The amount I was charged was different from the Booking price even though the booking price claimed to have included all taxes and fees. The property decided to overcharge me based on an exchange rate I was not aware of. It was a headache going back and forth between Booking and the property and ultimately my credit card to dispute this. I have never been charged an exchange rate difference when the price listed was in my local currency. Why would the price be listed in USD but I was charged in MXN and of course it was over the USD amount. My credit card initially refunded the difference but the property rejected the dispute. BOOKING was no help in the matter. I also felt the shower curtain was too short and caused the bathroom to flood everyday. At night no running water was available.

The food and the servers at the restaurant were excellent ! They were very friendly and all the food was very tasty and fresh. The location on the beach was perfect and magical. I could come back to Tulum only because of this place however there some cons that make me reconsider.

Old Sargassum filled beach, the weekend manager (don’t remember his name) was unresponsive and careless of issues that came up during my stay. Water pressure was poor and some times no water at all in the facility.
