The hotel is very cute, clean and the staff are very friendly. The rooftop is a great place to enjoy the view of Oaxaca. Lots around and walking distance from downtown.

Reception is not open midday. The T.V. is only local channels. NO iron in the room. They offered to request a taxi service for me, I scheduled one for 5 a.m. and I ended on the street waiting for a taxi to the airport and it never came. So if you need that service do it by yourself.

Very cute place. Safe didn’t work, lightning wasn’t relaxing, and the shower situation was weird, but the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly.

The pillows were really hard. The taxi driver that the hotel set up to take us to the airport in the morning wanted us to pay 100 pesos more than what the hotel told us, so be sure to reconfirm the price with both the hotel and the taxi driver in advance of getting in the car.

The location was ideal, it was charming, and the staff was helpful.

It is not very sound proof, so light sleepers might not enjoy it. The rooms and bathrooms have vents into the indoor courtyard so you can hear a pin drop from the other side of the building. Our window faced the inner stairwell so we didn’t have any windows to the outside and the curtains were pinned for privacy. Staff could’ve been more available and helpful during their hours too. For example, during our check out we were hoping to order a cab to the airport but no one was to be found. Small thing that could’ve made this stay even better, even with the limitations of the building.

Great location, cute building and very clean. Terrace is superb. We were comfortable for our stay for the most part.

2 days we just walked around the neighborhood and city. Lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants. We felt very safe, even at night.

Nothing. I had an excellent stay here - really loved the location/neighborhood, the ac and fan and desk in the room, as well as the closet with luggage rack, and the staff were really nice. great exeperience in total!

Beautiful small, friendly, cozy, well-appointed, home-y hotel in the incredible district of Jalatlaco. The room had a fan and ac that worked great, a nice desk and chair, and there were beautiful plants and decorations all over the hotel making it a very peaceful living space. They also have a free filtered water machine for filling up water bottles, and a beautiful rooftop to sit and look down at the area and around towards the mountains. it's also steps from amazing restaurants, cafes, shops, and sites, and just a few (fun and interesting) minutes walk into the center of town. It's a quieter part of town, but still really cute and lively. The staff was very friendly and accomodating too. Definitely recommended!

booked hotel thru Oaxaca Food and Wine Festival great location, the Jalatlaco neighborhood has wall art, walking distance to coffee and artisan shops, affordable restaurants and the park where we went at night to grab a snack, people watch and fire works at the church hotel staff were friendly and helpful the hotel had a terrace, went there morning, noon and night to relax and recharge

The bed was very firm and the pillows were really uncomfortable. Also one night after 10pm a water truck arrived for a refill which was very loud.

The location was great. Staff was very friendly. The rooftop was very nice!

Property bills itself as being Oaxaca Centro, but it was quite a ways off from Zocalo, markets, museums, etc. — a 35-40 minute walk away or a taxi ride.

Spacious, clean room, friendly, helpful staff. The neighborhood was laid back, good if want to avoid the hustle of a downtown.

They arranged a driver to bring me from the airport upon arrival. None showed up. Thank God for Taxi collectivo , it was unexpected and longer, but a great lower cost transportation.

Location was exceptional in historic and artistic barrio with everything needed within a couple blocks. The flowers on the roof terrace added extra abuela charm. Wish I could stay longer!
