Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe loved staying here, it’s a very special place in Mexico City. All the staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home. Amazing fresh traditional homemade breakfasts and juices and cakes through the day. Great location for Roma Norte and Condesa . We stayed at the start and at the end of our trip and we would love to return again.

MexicoConstantly replace batteries in remotes, please. And a TV could be bigger for some boarders.
The place is exactly next to park "España" with lots of dogwalkers. The place is famous for its Mexican and European cuisine where cafes and restaurants are full of foreigners at night. By the way, its in walking distance from the castle of chapultepec! However, going back to art deco Mexican style La Palomilla where i stayed and had comfortable time, I'd say lots of positive things to this very local, nice, and friendly place with a good kitchen, cosy beds, a great shower with lavanda scence toiletries, and a great breakfast.

United StatesNothing- all good.
La Palomilla is one of my first choices while visiting CDMX. I am particularly impressed by the hospitality of the front desk. Pro tip- when booking an Uber walk to the corner because for some reason they don't recognize the hotel's address.

United StatesJust be prepared for rooms that are a little cramped (but still comfortable and clean!) and sound carries throughout the hallway/stairs, so if you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs. These are small things in my opinion and would not stop me from staying here again.
The whole staff team was really lovely and super helpful. This is a beautiful, charming B&B with delicious breakfasts and an emphasis on highlighting local art and artisans, so if you’re looking for somewhere to stay that isn’t just a generic stopover, this is a great choice! The other guests we met were great as well! It’s also in a great location, quiet and close to Condesa. Oh, and a nice hot shower!

IrelandThis was such a great place to stay during our visit I couldn’t recommend it enough! Initially I booked this hotel after seeing the breakfasts that were included and they did not disappoint. Fresh juice, fresh fruit spreads and daily changing breakfasts were all great. The staff were all very nice and always checking in if we’d need our room cleaned. The room would feel so fresh and clean when we’d come back from a long day walking in the city. The location was great, whether you plan to walk/bike everywhere or Uber all the time.

United Kingdom-
Very friendly staff and we loved how at home we felt - you can really relax and wander down and make a drink in the kitchen. Breakfasts were different every day and always something interesting, and spicy. The location works well as you can easily walk to Roma and Condesa, both quiet and attractive neighbourhoods with a lot of cafes and restaurants. The rooms have real personality and the beds were so comfortable! Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a more personal and characterful experience of Mexico City

United StatesBecause of the room we chose, our bathroom was separate from the bedroom which was a little inconvenient for night time bathroom breaks. But, great value for the price!
The breakfast was amazing, and the welcoming and accommodating nature of the staff was remarkable. Location was easy for sight-seeing and eating!

United StatesThe Staff was so friendly and attentive! They really worked together as a team to make our stay warm and welcomed!... The Breakfast was AMAZING!!! it was like a breakfast food tour each morning - delicious and a true Mexican style variety from the fresh fruit plate, main breakfast entree (Ex: mole, chile chilaquiles, eggs with red sauce, etc.), mexican bread, homemade jams, coffee, aqua frescas, etc. Each evening, they laid out a fresh pitcher of aqua frescas and homemade cookies/brownies. Nice Touch!! Did I mention all food was made from "scratch".... We had our own dedicated cooks (Elvia, Cuby, Alda)! Great Location within the heart of Condesa - easy stroll to the parks and casual through strolls through neighborhood taco bars, shopping etc; quaint rooms with a variety of flare in each room! Nice little welcoming touches we well, roof top was great to hang out as well. Lastly, Edwardo at the front desk, was great in explaining the dishes to us, sights and recommendations to see and do - he was out main "go to" person! We learned so much from him.... Mandating the nite desk was Roberto and Gerardo who greeted us when we came in at nite. Big thank you to all of the La Palomilla Bed & Breakfast Staff members!!! You made out stay memorable!!

United StatesWifi was spotty, but that only really matters if you need to be doing work.
Amazing location for sight seeing, food/drink, and relaxing neighborhood walks. Amazing staff with spot on recommendations. Lovely, comfortable and clean space. Breakfast was the best part. The room was small (which they are upfront about) but manageable if you keep stuff organized.

United StatesThe room at first was a tad small but we easily got used to it. It was hot this week much to our surprise but they accommodated with fans.
The location in Roma Norte was excellent. East walking to restaurants. Pretty lined streets - lots of locals walking their dogs. The staff was incredibly friendly led by Eduardo who was gracious and lovely. So many nice decorative touches throughout. Very clean and the breakfasts were varied and helped start the day.
