The food and beverages at the hotel were expensive so we sought food at restaurants outside the hotel. The location was far from town and other restaurants so we had to take Ubers and the traffic was awful.

It is a beautiful property with amazing pools and a very nice beach. The rooms are large and comfortable and we had a great ocean view. The staff are amazing. Food and beverage was very good.

We did not find the restaurant prices as objectionable as some. Of course, they are high for Mexico (or indeed anywhere else), and for genuine Mexican food you would be better off (both financially and culinarily) going elsewhere. But nothing we had was priced off the charts for a top end hotel, and the quality was reliable and often very good. Some of the activities were a different story. We were quoted USD 4,000 for a morning’s boating for 4, and almost USD 1,000 through an agency introduced by the hotel for a surf lesson for 2. Unreal prices, but it didn’t spoil our trip as it was very easy to get online and book the same things with reputable operators for less than a third of the price (although we decided against the surfing which turned out to require an hour on the road to a better surfing spot).

Beautiful rooms in a beautiful hotel, with exceptional service and attention to detail. All the staff seemed to have a genuine concern to make sure we had the best possible time. We were given a free upgrade so that the two families in our party could be close together on the property. My daughter’s birthday was marked with a number of generous gestures, including a virgin piña colada on the beach and a beautiful cake that appeared in our room. The beach was great, with calm seas, interesting snorkelling and attentive drink service all on our doorstep.

Spectacular location, facilities, dining and staff! This was a return visit for us on our 20th anniversary and we absolutely loved it! There are more than a few world-class resorts in Los Cabos, including several that we have visited and enjoyed (Esperanza, Las Ventanas and Waldorf Astoria Pedregal), but we believe the combination of the vastness of the property, its beaches, and greenery combined with truly, exceptional dining and a very experienced and personable staff makes Palmilla hard to beat. Whilst the room was lovely it wasn’t the most comfortable bed. The restaurants at the hotel are excellent, we dined at Hoshi and Seared however they are unnecessarily expensive, Seared especially. A one course meal for two without alcohol easily sets you back a min of 300usd. Coffee at 15usd a cup and we were charged 31usd just for seating at the pool bar and drinking water. This is definitely a high end brand but some charges are just not necessary. If you want to dine out do your own research. The restaurants off-property our host recommended were average at best - sure there are far better options. We often stay at Four Seasons properties and while this is definitely comparable if being really picky FS still has the edge when it comes to comfort, service and value for money.

Beautiful property in a stunning location. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Long stretch of beach with hotel facilities. Main pool was larger and quieter than the adults only pool area. Decent gym and yoga classes each morning. Breakfast was included in our stay and there was a good choice of options.

I cannot think of one thing I didn't like. Everything was beyond perfect.

I cannot begin to explain how special this place was. The obvious talking points are the location, landscaping, amenities and services, but the most important factor my partner and I took away from the experience was the genuine kind attitude from all of the staff. Every staff member had a smile that didn't seem forced, a great sense of humor, and legit made me think - I want that kind of job. What they do is so hard - dealing with so many personality types and having to maintain a positive attitude - and they made it seem so easy. I've stayed at several places with high-end amenities in beautiful locations, but the staff went above and beyond our expectations.

Having stayed at various One and Only’s across the world we were especially looking forward to a relaxing stay at Palmilla. It exceeded our expectations and more. The natural beauty of the location and the staff at this property are second to none. Like other O&O hotels the grounds are kept in pristine condition and room furnishings very comfortable and in keeping with surroundings. Every single staff member we came into contact with were fantastic. Big thanks to Butlers Jonathan and Enrique who couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating and thanks to Carlos and Alfonso on the private dining team. If relaxed luxury is what you’re looking for look no further than O&O Palmilla. Very much looking forward to returning in the future.

This hotel is incredible. The location, ambience and service is faultless. Stayed for 5 nights in late July with 2 (late) teen boys and we were all blown away. Probably the most special place we have ever stayed. With the most exquisite attention to detail and staff.

AC didn’t work properly the first night, they said it was repaired during the day, had to call them back and then it was repaired.

This was literally the best vacation of our lives.  The accommodations were exceptional, the food was unbelievable, and the staff was beyond our expectations.  Tha one and only Palmilla holds a special place in our hearts and memories. We cannot wait to go back.

We had an issue with the air con in our room on the third night, they moved us to another room but unfortunately the shower had a tiny issue. They ended up upgrading up to a huge one bedroom suite for the rest of our stay to apologise for the inconvenience. To be honest. We were happy with our room. It was beautiful but we didn’t need a colder unit as it’s was 39 degrees. It was a very minor issue that was sorted immediately.

Superb location, beautiful surroundings. The food is out of this world. The staff do their very best to make sure you are comfortable and attentive to your needs. The pool the beach, the vibe is outstanding. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. You have to try the ceviche trio, yummy. The cold plunge became my favourite morning routine. It’s a must try.
