Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe only frustrating thing was being conned into attending a sales meeting for timeshare. We thought we were getting free tickets for a boat ride out to the arch. The sales lady told us to give her $20, and she would return it to us the next day when we got our boat ride tickets. Well, when we showed up, she said we had to sit through a 90 minute presentation, and we would get our $20 back and the tickets for the boat. We never thought that it was a time share presentation. After we realized what it was, we didn't return and we lost our $20. Remember, there is nothing free so don't give up your money unless you are willing to sit for a couple of hours to listen to a sales presentation.
Stayed at Bonito Sunset for 4 days. We were placed in Building 22 and had a suite with 2 queen beds, two full bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, dining area and full balcony. Was surprised how large this place was. It is built on the side of a hill (Pacific side), and you needed to take a golf cart whenever you wanted to go anywhere. It seemed frustrating at first, but there were so many golf carts driven by employees that we didn't need to wait long for someone to pick you up. This place had dining rooms serving meals all day and night. There was a large buffet style where you could get anything you wanted. Then there were other restaurants that you sat down and ordered off a menu. The food was very good. This resort had paths throughout the complex basically consisting of switch backs. There were about 7 swimming pools. If one was too crowded, you could go to a different one. They never ran out of towels.

United StatesThe layout of the hotel makes golf cart travel a must. It was difficult to plan spontaneously because catching golf carts as they went by was difficult.
Food in general was very good - we've only had one other all-inclusive experience and this was equal to that one. Not all the restaurants were great - but generally there were options that were very good. Room service was relatively quick and bar service was exceptional.

United StatesDid not care for our room on the ground level right behind one of the restaurants which meant we had absolutely NO VIEW....
Liked the all-inclusive aspect as makes things easy. Just have to listen carefully if for eg you want a glass of Pinot Grigio and you didn't hear it would be for eg $21 extra.... as not part of the base level.

United StatesTaking it all into account all was great.
Location, Pools, number of restaurants, food and mid-shelf alcohol all on the all-inclusive wrist band. Great concierge desk to book activities. There were about six pools so you could always find a chair somewhere and every pool has a bar and poolside catering. Friendly/helpful staff. Highly Rec to stay.

United StatesEven though we had all inclusive, we did not have the freedom to walk in to the buffet and seat ourselves. We had to check in with a host, scan our bracelet and then wait to be seated. The wait at the diner was long. Even to be greeted after sitting down we waited a long time just to place order.
Lots of options at the Breakfast buffet. The egg station was also a great option as well. We also enjoyed having breakfast at the diner.

United StatesWhile the siting on a steep hillside makes for gorgeous views, I would prefer more walking accessibility without the need of using the golf cart transports (which were readily available). I would have liked to be able to walk to coffee quickly. I would have liked a hard copy map of the restaurant locations. I would have liked a welcome ride throughout the entire property to get a sense of the whole place.
Beautiful views everywhere, lovely lobby, nice details, different vibes at each pool, each restaurant

United KingdomSome cocktails were made with syrup, not fresh fruit juice, so were not great. Maybe it's American style and we just aren't used to the same ingredients etc. We also are not used to the pestering from the salesmen trying to sell timeshares. However we were left alone when they realised we aren't eligible. Mimosas were nice, but they are traditionally served in a champagne flute (not a pint glass) which I had to request. That seemed odd, but it was provided when possible, thank you.
Gorgeous resort with grand interiors, attentive staff, multiple pools to choose from, spacious suites with everything you need. Definitely would recommend the sky pool. It has the best views, with good music and an infinity pool. Never seemed too busy. There's a choice of restaurants and we were lucky to be there for Mexican independence day where the main restaurant had fantastic, fresh made tacos.

United StatesI was hoping the property to have many night entertainment. Many activities were mentioned to take place but only morning stretching at the pool would take place. Property was a little unmaintained. Sister Properties are not at all on the same status as Sunset. We got a chance to go to Pacifica, wished it was included in the All Inclusive plan and didn't have to pay additional
The property has lot of food options that can cater to all food allergy people. The property is huge giving space for privacy We enjoyed the almost quick service when we would have a request. All the staff were really very friendly and pleasant

United StatesI didn’t realize how the hotel was laid out- depending on your hotel room, you have a 5-20 minute walk to pool or restaurant or you have to wait for a cart to pick you up. Sometimes the carts come quick but sometimes you have to wait a bit.
