Some noise from the street and city comes inside the room but we fixed it with ear plugs, we always travel with those :) The rest is fantastic and unique

When you're using e-hailing / grab - they tend to not enter till lobby because the "jalan sempit" or "salah jalan- saya dekat belakang main road"

The shower room’s door gap is too big!!

I loved the hotel even though construction was going on. However, there were some things I did not like about the area. I found the back area quite sketchy since we used the back to enter and exit. A stripped, graffitied car 20 feet away, an open shack-like shelter 100 feet away where someone was living. Then the glitzy, over-the-top marketing with all of the super expensive retail stores, endless traffic, begging on the streets, and garbage was quite overwhelming. The hotel was great and I enjoyed the markets and the Batu Caves, and my tour guide, but that was it. I would not recommend KL to anyone to visit. Too many endless freeways and traffic, too much garbage and lack of infrastructure, and poor city maintenance. A lot of potential, but poorly designed and lacking basic upkeep. Sorry this is what I did not like.

We had a lovely stay at KLoe, just one night as we were transitting through KL but could have stayed for longer. The room was beautiful with lots of nice little touches like nostalgic Malaysian candies and Aesop bath products. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even emailing us after we left with details of some of the artwork we asked about. The location was great too.

Absolutely nothing negative to say. There was some roadwork happening from 9am-5pm on weekdays and it was noisy - but the staff was upfront and super apologetic about it. Honestly it didn’t really affect our stay at all.

From the aesthetic to the super friendly staff, everything about KLoe was perfect! Also a short walk from Pavilion, The Exchange, and several standalone eateries, making this the ideal location for a holiday centered around shopping and food (which ours definitely was). KLoe will definitely be our go to hotel in KL in future!
