No air-conditioning in the room but there was a fan provided. Just with all day sun all a fan does is push hot air around. There was a small window but this wasn't found till the last day as it was in a very awkward spot.

We stepped out of the hotel and anything you could think of to eat was at best a 10min walk. You can walk to the zoo and this is an absolute must to visit, about 30min walk. The room was huge for middle of the city. Plenty of shops too for any kind of shopping you may need. Rotterdam central station is walking distance too.

The rooms are small, but good enough for the two of us.

Love the old building. Location was great and easy to access on our bikes. Staff were very friendly and helpful with storing our bikes. There is a supermarket close by and several cafes. We would stay there again.

Lack of step free access into the reception the building was accessible is lifts accept for the main entrance.

The location was very convenient and close to most things. Large family room with a standard bathroom. No dinner option at the hotel it self.

In my room the signal for the tv was not working. We came early to the hotel to sleep as it was raining and I wanted to watch tv but it was not working. I called reception and they blamed the weather. My husband was in another room and his tv was working fine though, I was a bit jealous:)

Beautiful entry although you can see is an old hotel it is very well maintained, clean and excellent welcoming. Good size rooms, bottled water coffees and teas available on the room, as well as a kettle and a fridge. There’s a phone to call the reception. Good size bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash and body lotion all there too! At the reception there’s fresh water, fruits and sweets for the kids, all free! Car park right next to it but 30 euros for 24 hours and the hotel is right in the center in a walking distance to the market hall.

The floor and some of the furniture could do with a very good clean, there was some dust on it. I know the building is old but the windows were very old and did let a lot of noise in.

I like the location of where it was, everything was close by to it. The room was very big in size and all the things i needed . The Bed and pillows was comfy and handy having the coffee machine too. Bathroom was nice too.

I stayed in a standard room, the phone wasn't working, the bed was terrible, I could barely sleep, and I ended up getting sick. The breakfast option wasn't the best either. The chef needs to really know how to make an omelet. There was no complimentary water in Standard rooms, you'll need to purchase water in the mini shopping area by the hotel lobby or go to Etos near by.

No ramp at the entrance but stairs, so you need to carry by hand luggage or pram. Not very comfortable. Also stairs to go at breakfast floor (there is a disabled lift though). Also unfortunately the cleaning service was not the best they hadnt cleaned the floor in days and I needed to request it to the reception. They apologized and offered breakfast though, appreciated.

Wall of the room very robust so I could not hear any noise. Very spacious bath with very hot water. Also the size of the room was very fairly. There is a little sweet and refreshment corner before you take the lift to your room I liked. The location is perfect since youre near central restuarant and metro.

It was very loud all night. We could hear everything through the closed windows. No air flow in the room, even with the fan constantly on. A/C would have been necessary. Very soft and uncomfortable mattress. They weren't doing the 'Green stay' either: no drink voucher as was promised.

Rooms are old style which is understandable due to age, but cleanliness isn't maintained. The room service didn't hoover the rooms and it was dusty all over.

The hotel room wasn’t the cleanest after housekeeping the floor wasn’t swept and I got bit a lot on my back and hands when asleep so woke up itchy … no restaurant or room service options which is a bit poor

The room was not as it was advertised in the website. The furniture were old and the chairs unstable.
