We arrived an hour early, unfortunately we were not admitted, there was a man sleeping at a table in the lobby, apparently with a similar problem, as far as I remember this is almost the only place in a long time where you are not admitted when you arrive a little early! The room was very tired, on the photo it looks new but it is not, the window was broken, the towels were torn at the edges and you could see that they were very old and tired, everything was on its last word and in poor condition. If it wasn't Amsterdam and that neighborhood, the room wouldn't be worth 20 euros.

Great location, the front of the hotel is quiet, there is even somewhere to charge and park your car. There was a bed and water from the shower, that was enough for me.

We stayed on 4th floor and it was very difficult to carry the luggage in narrow stairs. The bathroom door was not closing properly.

Walking distance to museumplein, tram station and vondelpark. Quiet neighborhood. There is a luggage locker in case you arrive earlier than check in time.

It was a little noisy every night as we were on the ground floor but I know staff were on shift at night so couldn't be helped. But if I stayed again I would request upstairs.

Not so much that I didn't like it but you have to pay 100€ deposit which you are made aware of however it can take up to 1 month for this to be refunded again! Before arriving it said you have to pay by debit or credit card so we had no cash. On arrival the man behind the desk said cash would be easier but we didn't have this since online it said only card.

The room was a good size and had netflix on the TV which was good.

Very noisy during the day it's right in front of a children's nursery/kindergarten they were all outside. Work being done a couple of doors up alot of drilling and hammering.

The stairs are expected to be very steep, but I didn't really enjoy missing carpet on one part of them. It made walking pretty hard. The floors are also separeted in half so if you use wrong stairs, you have to go all the way down and up again. The staff also sent us to the wrong stairs when we checked in, which made horrible first impression.

Nothing specific to like, it's just a regular hotel. They let me pay the deposit in cash, which I appreciated.

The stairs were lethal - the carpet had been pulled up but the old underlay was still covering the stairs making it quite unsafe to walk up and down. Looked awful too. Not sure why this was left like this over a weekend.

As described - comfy, for a luxury room quite basic but appreciated we had a balcony, it was warm, had a kettle, comfy bed and good shower. Good value for money for Amsterdam. Good location too, quiet with short walk to tram.

Hotel was okay get what you pay for so can’t really complain. If your looking for cheap hotel room good location and just looking for somewhere to sleep and shower it’s perfect. Staff are very good and attentive if you have any issues

The staff were so helpful and made our stay so easy. Would definitely stay again. Being so close to Vondel Park is also a big plus with transport links also very close by.

Not the hotels fault but there was some construction on the house next door which was loud, as well as Planes flying fairly close over the hotel at times, which is also loud. Again, still really good value for the price. You can’t expect 4-5 star standards when you’re paying less than 100£ a night for a double room with a private en-suite bathroom.

Extremely helpful and friendly Staff, Close to museums/center/vondelpark. Easy Check-in and Check-out. Good value for money. Obviously it’s not a 4-star hotel, so you can’t expect immaculate conditions, but it’s a decent room for less than 100£ a night close to the Center of Amsterdam.

In general the staff was decent except for the check in guy...there was misinformation about the insurance money because i book this room with my card but for some reason they wanted some extra money as insurance and in Cash money when there was a hotel policy that they did not offer cash payments...Also i stayed 3 nights there and my room was cleaned only one day and i had to ask then to clean the room.The toilet is too noisy and too small

I liked the privacy a lot and that it was near the places i wanted to visit.

Clean tidy, slightly dated but for the price in Amsterdam it’s everything you need if all you want is a base to explore the city.
