How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hairdryer in my bathroom was broken. It was sad to realize it at 4 a.m with wet hair and plain to catch. It works foe about 20 sec then stops. After some minutes it works again for 20 sec and stops. And so on...
Walking distance from the airport. The early flight was a reason I booked this hotel. Breakfast available from 4 a.m.

The breakfast not very good. Even though only a cold breakfast was on offer for early departure I have seen much better cold selection all over Norway. The juice was undrinkable.
Location for early flight departure. Quick and easy well sign posted walk between hotel and airpprt.

Deluxe room possibly not worth it. We (family group) booked two rooms. One of the rooms we booked was a deluxe and was advertised as having a sofa. This was important to us because one of us is doesn’t sleep well and wants somewhere to sit at those times. Room didn’t have sofa. Only other sign of it being deluxe compared to standard room was coffee machine and kettle which we didn’t use. Arrived on a late flight, so too tired to bring it up with hotel.
Public areas were beautifully decorated. Easy walk from airport even with big bags and snow on the ground. Professional and polite staff. Fabulous breakfast. Comfortable beds.

Very very close to airport do could walk there in the morning. They had a “cold” breakfast buffet at 4am for early travelers. The cold buffet had a wide selection of items.

Light switches were a bit complicated
We were amazed at the convenience to the airpot terminal. Easy 5 minute walk each way and use of luggage trolley. Beautiful decor, nice bar.

A little further to walk than I had hoped for, with a slight incline the whole way, especially pulling two very heavy cases. The majority is undercover through a car park, but there was still enough in the open to get very wet. Got a taxi back to the terminal the following morning, due to it raining, which cost 230 NOK (Jan 2025) Although clean, the room was a little dated and needed the paintwork freshened up. One thing to keep in mind….it would be advisable to know anyone you’re sharing a room with very well as there was only partial frosted glass in the bathroom which meant you could see someone on the toilet or in the shower. There were no screens to change this and I found it an extremely strange design.
The two members of staff I dealt with were lovely, welcoming and very helpful There is an early limited breakfast from 4am, which I had to take due to the time of my flight. I was surprised at how good this was but could also see the potential of the full breakfast from 6am. For example there was an omelette and juice station and areas for hot foods. Although I didn’t have a meal, I went to the bar for ice and the restaurant looked very nice.

The hotel rooms are abit old eg the carpet is torn.
Breakfast started really early at 4am which is very helpful as our flight is at 6am. The breakfast is nice!

Access on foot with luggage is a challenge, especially with mobility issues.

No food or drink available until 4:30pm. Minor faults in room, one bedside lamp was hanging off, basin in bathroom was cracked, no lock on bathroom door and you can see into the bathroom from the room.
Really comfortable bed, close to the airport, excellent breakfast served from 4:00am so even early flyers can eat first.
