Location is not near much other than the airport and shuttle buses are every half hour which potentially posed problems for our itinery. Lack of vegan and vegetarian options as standard but staff went above and beyond to create bespoke meals and breakfast provisions

I was there for an overnight stay before flying out. I liked the fact the airport had a stop right in front of the hotel. Also, I enjoyed the lively bar on the premises and had a small beer before retiring.

The room could do with an upgrade and it wasn't that clean on arrival. There was hair from previous Guests all over the floors

The breakfast spread was spectacular with a wide variety of options and even a few Norwegian specialties. The F&B staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The FO staff were great too.

The issue with this hotel is the location and access. The bus from the airport runs only very 30 minutes and is 160 NOK for a return ticket ( this is not a standard hotel shuttle bus but a regular NY bus that serves three hotels ). It was very, very crowded in the morning, as the hotel is the last stop en route to the airport. For an early morning flight the bus connections are just too infrequent even if the bus journey itself is only 8 minutes.

As with all Scandic hotels, the breakfast was excellent and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were also friendly and efficient. The hotel is perfectly functional and is fine for a one night stay.

I had to pay for a toothbrush. The breakfast was not a good selection . It also used to be in a different location that was much nicer. It’s now in a room that’s like a school cantina. The shuttle isn’t free to the airport

I loved the reception staff. Very helpful and friendly. The room was basic. The main bed in family room setting was really too soft. Pillows were too small. The shower is excellent. The reception hall was very warm and comfortable. It was the highlight of our stay.

Not being informed of breakfast options at 4am especially when mentioning we were leaving after 4.30am Would have been a good idea to inform that you have to purchase a ticket for the shuttle bus. Could struggle as this is the last stop if their holiday and may not have any money left. Can create issues especially that early in the morning

All was ok in the hotel. Maybe if the shuttle could stop right in front would be even better, especially in the extreme cold, and carrying multiple suitcases.

Good location Bus shuttle available and frequent The reception team was extremely attentive to our travelling needs and antecipated all our doubts about early flight. We could get a breakfast at 3h45am!!! Very quiet. We got a room suitable for limited mobility and it was so spacious including the bathroom and adjustable beds 👌. If you do a late check-in like we did, there is a small convenience shop/room near the reception.

There was no capability to circulate air in our room. I also saw no way to cool it off or heat it up. When we left the room, the door closed, but didn’t lock. We had to use our door key to lock it
