Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The shower temperature was not stable so the water got extremely hot on a couple of occasions whilst showering. A clothes airer would have been helpful as the clothes were still damp after washing/drying
Very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. Very nice modern building, very well decorated reception. Well decorated throughout. Great facilities.

Our room was quite dusty. Even bedside tables dusty. Start up the air con and get a dust storm! First time we experienced this.
Great hotel. Very good location. Very góod parking. Walking distance to many cafes, bars, restaurants. Excellent view if the ocean.

The hair conditioner bottle was empty they didn't fill it. The tissue wasn't in the room or living room. My room was Road view...It's a noise early morning ..
Everything was good and clean tidy. We can watch Netflix. Close to restaurants and walk to the beach.

They knew we were on our wedding anniversary and stuck us in a room looking out that would of once had water views but now has a parking building getting built right in the view. No milk in fridge for a cup of tea.

Only downside was the shower which kept changing temperature and was flooding the bathroom floor.
Great location, super central to restaurants and CBD. Secure car parking. Clean and tidy rooms. Comfy bed. Kind and friendly host at check in and she happily facilated an early check in for us.

Shower was over the bath with a narrow step up into the bath, had to take extra care. Spa bath wasn't working.
Fabulous kitchen with dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble dryer. Room layout was perfect, we even had a balcony. Close to bus connections. Easy access to restaurants and bars along the seafront.

Parking building tight, but staff made this known prior to paying.
Apartment was spacious, although a one bed unit,a fold out couch was offered as well on request prior to arrival.

Limited facilities, parking area isn't suitable for all vehicles. We had to park on street which is paid parking during the day. Bathrooms weren't filled up with all the necessities such as shower gel, etc. One bed wasn't comfortable. You could feel the springs popping out. But overall, it was better than other places that I have stayed and we enjoyed it despite some minor things

Great location up the hill from all the activities on the esplanade. Apartment was very comfortable and clean. Our room was probably decked out for people in a wheelchair as the shower etc had handrails catering for them. We paid for a park on premises which was okay but very tight driving down to the allocated area. Not suitable for big cars.

Currently next building is under construction. Actually many construction is going on in Tauranga. Due to that, there is noisy and barrier which protect dust and also sight. Quest building itself is old and. Construction stop on sunday and also after working hour

I only stayed for one night. However, it was an exceptionally enjoyable stay. The lady who checked me in was kind and helpful, and the room was well equipped, comfortable, and clean. The only disappointment was that the spa bath jets weren't working. Otherwise, no complaints, and I expect I will be returning.

Had to buy our own milk as no service provided at front desk. Only got swipe card as we arrived early or god knows how we would have got in. No service at all after that for entire stay
So close to the functions we were attending we could walk.

I didn't like the broken shower plug hole and the broken shower doors had been taken off.
The bed was nice the aircon was necessary. .I didn't like the broken shower plug hole not repaired and no glass doors in shower had been taken off very strange
