Breakfast was superb. Beautifully presented, locally sourced and great variety. The quality and quantity was incredible and set us up wonderfully for the day out. Blyth was a fantastic host and we felt very well looked after. The fire in the lounge never seemed to go out and there was a range of books to read and this, along with the beautiful view outside made it hard to leave! Our room was spacious with a super comfy bed, and we also enjoyed the spa bath. We had read other reviews so asked to dine in one night and had the most wonderful fine dining experience without having to go back out again after a busy day. We are thrilled that we chose to stay at the homestead. Thank you very much for such a special and relaxing break and sharing your special place in the valley.

Gorgeous property! So beautifully decorated it gives the feeling of a luxurious resort. The surroundings are astonishing, with a lovely stream of water in their backyard, beautiful trees and gardening (visited during the Fall). What a dream! Modern installations, excellent shower, etc. Excellent breakfast.

As always - thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hosts Bryce and Ann were welcoming, friendly, interesting and made sure all the guests were provided with everything they needed. The location is beautiful and would suggest visiting in April for the magnificent tree colours - grounds so well maintained. Wonderful choice options for breakfast. Recommend plus, plus. Wish we stayed longer!

The Homestead exceeded all expectations! Ann and Blythe went out of their way to make our every comfort. We had the 3-course dinner which was better than any restaurant meal we had in Queenstown, and they made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. The photos do not do it justice - it’s the most perfect stay.

The hosts were wonderful. We arrived after a long drive and were offered a delicious glass of wine as we relaxed in front of a crackling fire. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Huge selection of homemade foods. We wish we had planned to stay longer.

Our room although beautiful, wasn’t quite ensuite. We had a roomy bathroom all to ourselves with shower and spa bath but it was over the hallway.

The rooms had a touch of luxury about them. There was water and chocolates too. We had fresh coffee on the terrace when we arrived, and there was always tea and coffee and biscuits available.

The room was quiet and comfortable, wonderful hosts. Great seating areas inside and out on veranda to read a book. Truely special place to visit. The breakfast was perfect, exceptional fruit salad and poached eggs. The hot tube is just what I needed and very much enjoyed a couple sessions before heading to bed. There was a nice view over the gardens from the room. In conclusion this is a 5* luxary place to stay..

The house was picture perfect, as was the views. Therooms are fitted out with no expense spared. Blyth and Ann were the perfext hosts and welomed us with open arms. The breakfast was a sumptuous spread and the extra dinner we had (cooked by Blyth) was mouth watering (and worth every dollar).

If you are contemplating staying here, do it! The grounds and accommodations are excellent. We were greeted warmly at the door and offered refreshment from our journey right away. The gardens are peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool and hot tub were easily accessed and a bonus for watching the stars at night. There are beautiful views in every direction. We were served a delicious breakfast in the morning with a wide variety of offerings. This place is a gem. (Also, the neighboring distillery has excellent food and is an easy walk.)

Bed was too soft for me but didn't bother my husband. Breakfast is from 7:30am-9am -- we like to have breakfast a little later when we're on vacation...lol.

Hosts, Blyth & Ann, are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Blyth cooked us two exceptional, sumptuous dinners--he clearly has fine dining experience; our best meals in NZ to date! We also had a bountiful array of healthy breakfast items, including poached eggs on toast. The grounds are lovely and rooms are comfortable; great shower. We had mountain and garden views. B&B is off the main road, so we were in a very quiet area. Reasonably priced for such accommodations. Modern amenities with eclectic art and decor.

Lovely facility, and the host is a chef so breakfast was exceptional in quality and scope of choices. Beautiful setting. It's some distance from Wanaka but that adds to the wonderful peace and privacy.
