Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe spatial layout of the family rooms could be more optimal.
It was a successful stay, from check-in to the rooms with their great views and the beautiful garden to the pleasant breakfast, everything was great. A huge plus: a small complaint was resolved immediately!

The Inn is family run and owned and staff is exceptional. Marcelo went above and beyond and even set up an early morning taxi on day I was leaving. The grounds are gorgeous and breakfast delicious. I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect place to stay.

PolandOutstanding place. Polite and helpful staff. Cozy rooms. Garden full of flowers and humming-birds. The pool and jacuzzi are amazing — relaxing there after a trek and gazing at the coffee plantation across the river is an exceptional experience. Well-equipped fitness center. Phenomenal breakfast with a view. Highly recommend and truly worth the price.

United KingdomThis is a fab hotel in a stunning area just outside Boquete. We stayed two nights in the family room and a further two nights in side-by-side triple rooms. The former was just perfect for a family of 4 and the kids loved their bed space up a narrow spiral staircase. It was so special to watch the many hummingbirds and other beautiful birds that are regular visitors to the stunning garden setting of the inn. The pool and jacuzzi are lovely after days our adventuring. We also loved the breakfast here. It’s low key, but served with a smile from the lovely staff team and includes lots of delicious fresh fruit, cooked items, smoked salmon and bagels and more! You can help also yourself to some fizz or a Bloody Mary too! And all with that stunning view! Just perfect! We would also like to add that the staff team were super friendly and helpful. It’s easy to get into Boquete using local taxis (although when we were staying, the bridge on the fast route into town was being repaired so the journey took a bit longer), and we also found Palo Alto was en route to many of the attractions, so tour companies were happy to pick us up there rather than in town. We highly recommend this place!

SpainI’m not exaggerating when I say I probably had one of the most pleasant stays that I had in my life at this place. The hotel is beautiful but what made it exceptional was the staff, Marcelo was super attentive and helped us in everything we needed (which was a lot but he remained happy to help us) and the owner of the hotel was also really thoughtful and took us to the restaurants that were outside the hotel. I cannot recommend enough this hotel for anyone thinking of staying in boquete!

United StatesMy last day there I had to change rooms and it was a little pricy. The other four days were worth it. It is recommended.
It was comfortable and complete. Has a good gym, sauna, jacuzzi, and the breakfast with a view is awesome.

PanamaToo many people at breakfast, not enough fresh fruit. Just regular bagels and coffee. I feel like in Boquete hotels can do better with coffee choices and bread. There are dozens of coffee farms to buy direct from and Mortons has great bread and bagels.
The pool, spa and the view!

The best experience as the breakfast with a view was great. The staff were all super respectful and helpful. The accommodations were all really excellent. The pool and hot tub were the cherry on top of the entire stay. All of the guests seem to enjoy their time there.

CanadaSofa bed was meh and bathroom very tiny. A few more options to hang up wet towels and bathing suits would be nice.
Beautifully maintained property. Our room was spacious and had a lovely view. Hummingbird feeder just outside our window. Breakfast was great (eggs/omelettes made to order) and even included mimosas. The bed was very comfy. Hot tub was super nice and warm and popular at end of day. Nice place to meet people.

United StatesStaff didn't speak English very well but we were able to get by. Hotel parking is limited if you have a car. Hotel is on the outskirts of town.
Room 6 has a great view of the Baru Volcano. Breakfast has a nice variety but seating is mostly outside and when it rains it is not that easy to stay dry. Gardens around the property are very beautful and colorful.

United StatesNearly perfect, but one has to realize that having a car is helpful in order to get to the various hiking trails - hotel is outside of Boquete itself. Taxis to go downtown (about 3 km) should be ordered ahead of time since they might not come at the last moment. But there is a collective shuttle bus that runs when full, and walking downtown from the hotel is relatively easy as it is downhill.
Beautiful property, full of flowers and birds, wonderful breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Pool and hot tub, small fitness center. Very worth the price!

GermanyOne evening, there was a power outage in the village for about four hours. The staff provided no information or support, and we had to ask for a candle ourselves. I understand that it wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but as a guest, that’s not my concern – the comfort and needs of the guests should still be a priority.
The hotel boasts a beautiful garden and stunning views. The room is spacious, lovely, and clean. There is a pool and a jacuzzi for relaxation. Breakfast is delicious, and the staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. The location is convenient – you can reach the city center by taxi for just €4-5 or walk there in about 40-45 minutes. The area feels safe. Additionally, the hotel collaborates with several restaurants, offering free shuttle transfers for guests.
