Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Australiasome mosquitoes in the room & bugs in the hall and pool
The place is nice and tidy. Room stays nice and cool - they have just changed to newer Everest/Hisense window type aircon. Location is ok about a 10-15 min walk to town, also 15-20 min walk to the foot of Mt Tapyas stairway. The staff are kind and always available to arrange airport shuttle, trike, and breakfast orders for the next day. CC payments have surcharge. Breakfast is included where they serve mostly Filipino meals, so if you're not a rice person, options might be less. They provide water, coffee and tea 24/7 from the common area. They provide shampoo, conditioner & towels - the rest you need to bring your own. It's a nice, basic accommodation when in Coron.

United KingdomNice place and facilities at Acacia. Shower worked great and beds were comfortable. Had a small issue with ants in the room and bugs in the main corridor but didn’t cause us any problems. Location is ok about a 10 min walk to main centre of town.

SwitzerlandThere are many insects around the hall and the housekeeping is just from the third day… Also breakfast pretty minimal but okay anyway
The structure is very new and nice, same for the rooms! The two girls working there at the desk are kindly available every day for all the needs and also the location is good! Just 10/15 min walk to the center :)

NetherlandsThe staff was not super customer-friendly, The breakfast was slightly disappointing, but this can be said for the whole of the Philippines, if you dont wnat to eat rice 24/7.
Cleanliness of the room and the luxury. The location was great, quiet, and within a 15-20 minute walking distance from the busy center. Aiport shuttle and late check-out could all be arranged at the reception. For a small price ofcourse.

ItalyThe staff were generally friendly but not very helpful. They all seemed either lazy or reluctant to help, this was strange because everyone else in the Philippines has been exceptional in their efforts. Especially the bars and receptions at Acacia, often there would be nobody around and you have to search for someone, or on the bar menu they didn’t have any fresh fruit for all the fresh fruit drinks and the staff also couldn’t work out how to use the blender (try plugging it in the wall next time!). The breakfast was the worst we had in all the Philippines; very slow to arrive and very stingy with the dishes and the fruit they offer is expensive for just a couple slices of orange and apple.
The structure is very nice , modern and with a cool pool. The room also was fine , comfortable and big enough. WiFi is good. The location is ok , about 12 min walking from the town center and is in a quiet road.

United KingdomWe were not able to open the curtains in our room and the toilet flush often got stuck and was quite noisy.
Good position, only 3 mins trycicle to the “town center”, enough to be away from the noise but not too far away. Structure seemed well above average in Coron

IrelandThe staff wasn’t very friendly, and while the breakfast was good, I wish we could choose what we wanted to eat on the day itself, rather than the night before. There were no blankets available in the room, just a single sheet.
The air conditioning was good.

CanadaThey didn't clean around the pool enough, the floor was very dirty with hair and mud plus seating is not good. The plumbing is not good, it caused us a problem. The wifi isn't strong enough. It was a bit expensive for the level of services.
The standard twin room we had was basic but it was clean and very quiet. The included breakfast was very good, plus you can add or modify it for a very small charge. The staff were excellent and very responsive.. The common areas and the pool were very nice. The location is good, 5 minutes walk to the main drag.

United KingdomThe only one comment about the drop to the airport, it would be better to be 20-30 min earlier. There was a lot of people and all the checking was manual, and it took a lot of time. Our flight start boarding and we sill tried to drop our baggage.
The value for the money in Acacia Garden Inn is great, nice spaciouse room with huge double beds. Hotel booked ultimate tour in Coron and the airport shuffle for us which was very handy
