It would be nice if cleaning was done every other day instead of only on request. Overall, a very good stay!

Great central location – close to restaurants, bars, and the harbor for whale watching tours. Smooth check-in via WhatsApp, no reception but fast communication. The room is small but clean and quiet, with a private bathroom – perfect for a short stay. Breakfast delivered daily to the door was simple but tasty (yogurt, bread, cheese, ham, fruit).

One thing that is wrong there is a check-in experience. It is hard to find the place, because there's no sign at all. Hosts were unresponsive on the chat. I had to call them to get help. Door handle is kind of weird because it turns, but does not open the door until you turn it around several times. There's no such thing as 24h reception there, when I was checking-in nobody was there - I could only call them.

Well organised, breakfast was good, comfortable room, good location in the centre. Unfortunately there was a bad smell in the room. Despite using the ventilation for the bathroom and airing the room as much as possible, it was still smelly.

we stayed for 2 nights. location - middle of city center. kitchen - shared kitchen available with fully equiped ( we didnt knew about it, probably we missed out reading) bedroom - very spacious, comfortable beds and big pillows. bathroom - clean, with towel and other basic amenities.

Even though the property was spotless there was a persistent smell dampness which I think is just an island thing. Also, there was only one chair and not an actual table (besides a desk-like thing mounted to the wall) and eating breakfast in the room was a little tricky. I wish another chair and a small table was added for comfort.

The location! In the middle of it all. The staff - even though we didn’t meet anyone in person the communication through WhatsApp was prompt and very helpful. We reported an electric issues in our room and they sent their electrician within one hour and he repaired the issue immediately. We were also offered to move to another room which we didn’t but the option was there. Great kitchen with all appliances and utensils- we heated up a lot of leftovers and used the kitchen a few times.

The sound isolation is not perfect, so you can hear people walking on the floor.

The was a HORRIBLE smell in my room- presumably from sewer gasses. While the soundproofing from the room to the street was excellent- it was virtually non- existent inside the building. They should warn you that the building is only accessible by foot after 11am each day.

The breakfast basket was a nice touch. Having a kitchen accessible to all was a bonus. Staff helped me up the stairs with my heavy suitcase.

I was unable to quickly identify the right door from the street and spent some time dealing with the lock, but it was probably my fault.

It's a nice hotel in the center of Ponta Delgada. Although I didn't meet anyone personally, the hotel staff was in touch electronically and genuinely supportive. The unusual interiors are attractive, the ample shared kitchen space on the second floor is perfect, and their idea of how to deliver breakfast is so cute.

Long set of stairs between floors. Closed street to cars, so that taxis cannot stop in front of the entrance door to deliver the luggage.

The kitchen lacks organization. There should be trays with room numbers for the fridge and the closets so guests can put their food clearly. With 11 rooms available, there were only a limited number of cups and spoons, and no toaster. The chairs of the dining table need to be changed; it is not possible to rest your back on them at this point. Finally, it would be nice to add some warmth to the common area by adding paintings on the wall.

The location is very central and provides access to downtown. The room was large and full of light. The bathroom was clean and roomy.

You can hear everything your neighbour does, especially if underneath. The Sheets were clean and ironed, but they would need some changing soon, they were a bit worn out.

Central location, although on the main street, it was only pedestrian so no disturbing noises, bar activities stopping around 23h.
