Rooms could do with being modernised and updated, the main door to our room was catching on the frame so had to be slammed shut. Corridors are very tired and shabby

Some of the staff were unpleasant. The indoor swimming pool was worse than being around the pool at the peak of the summer, with people using towels to reserve seats etc. Food choices not great either particularly for anyone with specific allergies, there was nothing available within the property. Also, I know I booked B&B, I never do otherwise but the hotel denied this was included and charged over €40 for breakfast for 1 adult and 2 children, we couldn’t even eat the breakfast. Needless to say we made other arrangements for breakfast for the remainder of our stay.

The location was excellent and I’m sure if the weather had been better the facilities within the resort would have gotten great use.

At first I got a room which had a strong rotten smell, possibly fish cooked by previous guests. I complained and they sent someone to clean the room again. A very sweet cleaning lady came and mopped the floor, but the smell continued. Then they gave me another room. They apparently clean the rooms twice a week. I stayed one week, in the final two days some kind of mold from the sink was getting really bad. I would recommend staying 4 days maximum, the rooms don't have good ventilation and a more thorough cleaning is needed every 3 days I would say.

Great location near natural park, great pool area, very sweet staff, very good toasts at the café-bar, excellent small cute restaurants nearby.

Location was amazing, so chilled. Hidden little gem. Lovely pool and beach, via a boat, nice walks along the lagoon and wooden prom in the village.

On our first night we were put on the most excruciatingly smelly room I’ve ever been to. We arrived late, 9pm, with a baby so I decided to only complain the next day but I couldn’t even sleep because the room was so smelly. After I complained, the next morning, they gave us another room but that meant I had to pack everything up and move to another place which took a lot from the experience. We were there for a weekend break so we wasted a lot of time with this. I think they know they have that problem in the bedroom yet they still give it to people. I think it’s room 235 so be aware! We asked for late checkout and they said we could stay only until 11am, so they made no real accommodations for the fact that we lost time having to move rooms etc.

The location and the people. Most people working at the hotel were really nice and friendly. The kids club and people working there are awesome!

A bridge to the beach would be amazing as the boat only starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm so you can't just walk down to the beach for sunset. We found an old sock under our bed but generally the standard of cleaning was good.

The room was a good size and the kitchen had most things we needed - although there are no cleaning products/bin bags/dishwasher tabs/tea towels etc so you will need to bring those yourself. We had the breakfast and dinner meals included and the buffets were really good. Always stocked up and a vegetarian option each day as well as rice, soup, pasta, salad etc. The resort has lots of facilities like male and female sauna and steam rooms, an indoor pool, outdoor basketball court, volleyball court and two outdoor pools. There is also a free boat to the beach. The beach is beautiful, long and sandy. The resort is close to Cabanas village which has a Spar and some good restaurants if you need an alternative to the buffet at the resort. There is also a good bike rental shop in Cabanas where you can hire good quality children's bikes as well as adults and our family enjoyed the short-ish cycle to Tavira. There is bike rental at the resort but only adult bikes.

Didn’t have hot water for a shower on the first day and was told that you get 15ltrs of hot water until it heats up again so was enough for me and my wife to shower.

The room and bathroom had a heavy stench of tobacco/lack of ventilation/age of the overall property and there was no way to get rid of it despite the best efforts of all people involved. The overall cleanliness could be better in the bathroom especially. The health club could do well with some cleaning of the jacuzzi, and the locker rooms with the sauna and Turkish bath could be cleaner.

While I know we booked a cheaper accommodation, there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and under the kitchen sink. I was surprised they didn't rent beach towels if they didn't want people to use the towels from the room.

Too much black mould in bathroom, details lacking in quality ie curtain didn't hang properly, a few marks on the floor that needed cleaning.

The reception staff were excellent, 24 hour service so no problem leaving the key at 5.30am on day of departure. The Spa was superb, especially the indoor pool.
