Catia was very friendly, flexible and helpful, really helped us out, breakfast was a good variety and fresch walking distance to the center the guesthouse is arty, unice and has a great backyard garden to enjoy a cup of tea, nice little details everywhere

I can't think of anything except (and I know this is silly) maybe for Honor Bar have the option of white wine by the glass.

Staff working there were great....both were informative, kind and had great personalities. One even baked a coconut cake. Breakfast was great and I loved the place to have breakfast and the little glassed in area.

We were surprised by the size of the suites. It's an entire apartment with a terrace, fully equipped kitchen, TV and everything! The hotel breakfast was also very good, including fresh orange juice, a good selection of bread, fruit and cereals. The staff made our stay extra special by suggesting good places for us to eat in various parts of the city. Obrigado!

The AC was very dry and made us feel quite tired. But it was very cold and we had to keep it on. But the air becomes extremely saturated and not good at all.

Very friendly staff, attentive breakfast with nice fresh bread. Relaxed balconies towards the back and a nice garden. Excellent location, near everything.

The stairs are a minor issue. We just accepted that it is part of Portugal. We stayed for 4 nights but only had two rolls of toilet paper for two people. We were running out of toilet paper on the 4th way even though there was daily housekeeping. We also wished there was a note to indicate that we did not wish to be bothered, because the staff came into our room *without knocking* three times.

The place is gorgeous and very spacious. Sure, there were quite a few stairs that led up to our room, but that didn’t bother us for more than a few minutes. The layout of the room and the setup helped create privacy while keeping the place very cozy.

Not so much something that we didn't like, but there is no lift - which is made very clear in the listing - and some guests may find this an issue. That said, it wasn't a problem for us, and furthermore we saw other guests being helped with heavy cases by staff members.

A calm oasis very near the heart of the city. Informal and interesting (artworks everywhere!), this is a very intimate and cosy place to stay. Staff were very friendly and warm - the recommended local restaurant turned out to be an unexpected bonus. Excellent communication before and during our stay.

The property is easy walking distance, but slightly on the outskirts of where we were exploring and due to this felt a little bit more residential. It would be nice to add some amenities to the property, ie. Bottles of water.

We were impressed with the size of the room, cleanliness and the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and all facilities were great. The team were helpful when looking after our bags after checkout and sending very straightforward information on how to gain access into the property as this is not a hotel.

Beautifully appointed room with a private outside garden area. Lovely breakfast. We had a very early check out (4am) and the hotel receptionist was super helpful and arranged our taxi and also provided a takeaway breakfast for us. Excellent location - would definitely recommend to friends.
