How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Our 2nd time this year and we will be back another twice this year too! Perfect location for night before or night after a flight. Staff welcoming and helpful. Comfy room, great shower. Courtesy bus a huge bonus and prompt when requested on arrival at Porto. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Great value hotel. Lovely big comfortable room with sofa, safe, toiletries, and a huge shower. Beyond what you’d expect for a pre-flight hotel. Definitely stay there again. The shuttle to the airport terminal was a big bonus.

Massive room, very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was really nice and the bathroom was enormous. Also free shuttle to the airport and staff very helpful with luggage handling.

Great location for an early flight, close to the airport yet surprisingly quiet. We slept very well, the beds were firm but comfortable. Room was very spacious with a good bathroom. We ate in the hotel restaurant and found it reasonably priced and the main course of fish and vegetables was freshly cooked and delicious. We used the free shuttle to the airport in the morning.

The rooms are beginning to show wear and the bed pillows give no support. However, I think this is reflected in the price, which is great value for the size of room and services.
Spacious, very clean bedroom and bathroom, and excellent hotel staff. The airport shuttle is a great bonus too, especially when travelling alone.

We were there during the big power outage in April, and the help we got from the hotel was just unearthly! So kind, comforting and just perfect! Felt so safe!

No negatives here, always meets our expectations.
Location, we have used this hotel before and constantly recommend it for people we know or meet that are visiting the Porto area. After all the excitement of visiting Portugal, you need a good hotel to have one night to wind down before moving on your next destination.

Beds are okay but not great.
This is the best/biggest hotel shower we have ever seen! Huge kudos for that! Less than 5 min to the airport. The free shuttle driver was waiting and ready for our crazy-early 3:15 am departure. Dinner is served in the restaurant until 10 pm. We got in late and that was helpful. We rented a car from Movida and the return was walkable from the hotel.

The mattresses seemed a bit cheap but were fine to sleep on.
Great value for a very quiet and extremely convenient airport stay. The shower was massive and had a high-flow rain head and body jet! My husband said it’s maybe the best shower he’s ever used! The halls were extremely quiet. We ate at the restaurant and it was pretty good—not amazing! Also very much appreciated was the free airport shuttle at 3:15 am. The driver was waiting for us and had us to the door in less than 5 minutes. We zipped through the line and security at that early hour!

Nothing really. Bathroom was slightly dated, but very clean.
Super well placed for the airport, the shuttle service was a life saver when we needed to leave at 4:20 am.
