I was given a confirmation that we would be met at the airport. No one met us. When I called the hotel - I felt they did not care and said to just grab a taxi. It was very disappointing. However - once I arrived - the staff was very nice and welcoming.

Location was lovely. Easy to walk to outside restaurants and the onsite restaurant was yummy. Staff was AMAZING in every location.

The breakfast was amazing. If you couldn't find something you liked you are just too picky. The pools were lovely- one indoor and one outdoor. The restaurant Il Basilico was great. We ate there 3 times. The walk down to Olhas d'agua isn't far but be prepared for little Britain if you go. We ended up not trying the restaurants there so cannot say about quality. The beach is beautiful and you can walk for ages along it. All in all a great place to stay for R&R.

Hard to fault - although I did worry about the huge amount of food on offer, much of which may have gone to waste?

A really lovely hotel. One of the best we have used. Comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Very happy with our choice and would recommend to anyone.

Some small things like a some difficulties to adjust warm water in the bad. Also heating of outside pool would be nice.

The room was very clean, but it definitely needs an uplift. Also, the health club needs to be improved upon and the location of the hot tub and indoor pool. However, despite that I would return in a heartbeat. Everything else was excellent!

Small spa area. The bar cocktails were not good. The entertainment could have been better in the bar so we didn't stay there much.

Great all round hotel. Very good buffet breakfast, great outdoor area with views. Bed was comfy and shower was good. Useful to have fridge space for the week. Easy walk to bars and beach.

The super staff couldn't have been more accommodating, from reception through to housekeeping. Rooms were cleaned every day. Apart from the buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner, there is also the amazing il Basilico with a menu to match. Large pool area lots of sun beds and lots of comfy view points making the most of the stunning views and gardens. Not far to walk for a variety of bars and restaurants. Will definitely return when the hotel re-opens after refurbishment.

Was disappointed with only having a partial sea view, despite booking a sea view room. There was a minimal fee to use the steam room or sauna,but by the time we got there all the good slots had been taken

This is definitely not a problem, but the hotel and interior are a little outdated, the rooms are a little not modern.

excellent hotel with provided territory and view of rocks and sea. very high-quality and tasty breakfasts, incomparable freshly squeezed orange juice. Dinner-buffet was very good, especially fish, but meat was also very tasty. Italian restaurant on the territory is ok. rooms are quite spacious, clean, have everything you need, cosmetics from Rituals, there is a balcony with view of pool and sea. excellent and friendly staff, allowed us to stay on the territory of the hotel after check-out and waiting for transfer to Faro. Location is excellent: Albufeira is 10 minutes by car.
