Very peaceful. Staff were wonderful and very flexible. We arrived by bus from Lusaka at about 10pm. I had prearranged dinner and when we arrived, a table was set for us and we were served some delicious hot food. The lodge arranged a tour of the national park and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi. They have fast wifi and solar backup for when the electricity goes out. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The place is clean and tidy, with a lovely common area where guests can relax, chat, and enjoy BBQs. I met wonderful people there and shared travel tips. The host is amazing—she helped me get a taxi, negotiated local prices, told the driver where to drop me for a shared taxi to Botswana, and even advised me on fair prices for everything. She also shared tour company contacts, noted my requests to tailor the tour plan, and passed them to the guide. When I was short on Zambia money, she kindly helped me out. Truly the best host ever. They also have laundry service with a charge.

The lay out is vintage the staff are amazing our Butler Anne was amazing always made sure we had everything we needed. this is a place like paradise. the food service was excellent too.

The lodge is located far from the city, surrounded by nature. The star-filled sky before dawn was magnificent!! The rooms are wonderfully clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and always greeted me cheerfully. The food at the restaurant was delicious.
