Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I recently stayed at Emaar Al Manar. It is fair for the price. The hotel is in a good location. The staff are polite and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. A special thank you to the cleaning staff, and in particular to Mohamed Shojeib, for his outstanding effort and attention to detail. His hard work truly made a difference and was greatly appreciated.

The distance to Haram doesn't suit elders to walk at least 20-25 minutes. The restroom is very narrow, and much water is coming out, so it is always full of water; even using towels doesn't help . No answer at reception to check out and get luggage to the lobby.
Smooth and early check-in at 12:00 PM and given a good room. Helpful staff. Good breakfast with varieties like homemade food. Good location, mainly for young people to walk around 10-15 minutes to Haram alongside the very lively Ibrahim el Khalil Street with many shops open 24/7.

The size of the shower very small.

It’s a walking distance from Haram and in its surroundings everything is available. The staff is very friendly and helpful specially the guy Munib.

My stay on the 3rd floor, almost everything was fine, but when I moved to the 2nd floor it wasn't comfortable, very bad smell in bathroom, AC cooling was down, AC fan sound was loud , bad smell from the carpets, also WIFI was not working properly

Bathrooms a bit on the small side and could do with a remodel/modernisation. Breakfast have some more options/ live stations for pancakes/omelettes etc. Lobby can get quite busy at times with all the seating full up.
Breakfast was good but could definitely have been better compared to the other two hotels we stayed at during this trip and previous trips too. But a bit of everything could be found to fulfil most peoples dietary needs. Location is a swift 10 minute walk from the Haram. Didnt feel too bad this time with the weather being in the early to mid 30's (C) But when we stayed at a hotel opposite in the Month of August the same walk felt double the distance and exhaustive in the heat. No powdered milk or tea whitener with tea making facilities in the room. But a supermarket downstairs next to hotel helped with that. Bell boys expect a tip or arent interested. Bathrooms a tad small but accessories newly replaced like the shower, hair dryer etc. But would have been better if the whole bathroom was remodelled and modernised. Individual brand new AC in room with remote.

The hotel is fairly close to the Haram. I’d estimate about a 15-minute brisk walk for a young traveler, which was convenient. The property itself is a bit dated and basic, but if you’re like me and only need a place to sleep and freshen up, it does the job just fine. The breakfast was standard, nothing extravagant, but decent for the price. Don’t expect Marriott or Hilton-level quality, but it’s sufficient to start your day. My only real complaint was the check-in policy. I usually perform Umrah once a year (Alhamdulillah), and most hotels are accommodating with early check-ins if you arrive before the standard time. However, this hotel insisted I wait until 4 PM, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option with a good location, but the strict check-in policy could be improved

Hotel is 7 minte walk from masjid Service is nice room was clean and good breakfast was good everyday same food I must say coffee was nice stuff was happy to help you they don't cheak in before 4 pm but they keep your luggage safe make sure if you tea lover before you go you room you must buy milk from out side they don't provide milk otherwise my stay was excellent experience we will come back next year with milk insha Allah

The property was located at walk in and had all facilities in the neighbourhood. Bus and taxi was at teh door step. Ideal location when with family for your Umrah Travels. Housekeeping staff where exceptionally well mannered and respectable and provided great service and were available when needed.

The bathroom is very small and very risky on the hot water tab and faucet. One can easily burn in the bathroom with hot shower faucet get too hot and the water can overheat easily. Please take care of size and water tab. It will be more excellent and perfect place to stay.
Location and cleanliness were very exceptional and our rooms service person Mohammed Shojeib was very dedicated to his work.

The bathroom is not well equipped and you will not get the soap shampoo unless you ask them for it.

shower is a bit small
Very nice, respectful and helpful staff, housekeeping came by every day and cleaned almost daily, location is about 10/12 minutes from the haram but longer around prayer times.
