Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Minor: The bathroom space doesn’t really allow the towels to dry or to place anything down. I hadn’t noticed that there was online when booking but it’s not too tall.
Great location, super comfortable and quiet sleeping. Excellent breakfast. Lovely staff.

Wonderful hotel, great service. We arrived at night and were quickly checked in and met. The room is large, clean, the bed is very comfortable. Breakfasts are great. The location is great, there is an underground paid parking nearby in 3 minutes, but it is very nice 👍

Parking is always limited in the area, but the in-house parking is tight..
Centrally located and a short walk to the old centre and main rail station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Slamic is located on a quiet side street. Small parking area for clients. The room was fine although we did have to ask for an extra folding luggage rack for our second large luggage so as not to put it on the floor. Staff were amazing, friendly and accommodating. I think my wife set a new record for the number of cappuccinos she had every morning! Breakfast was simple and on point, which each client selects from a room card for the next morning. No waste!!! I've been here before on a motorcycle tour, but this time with my spouse and without motorcycle. Beautiful city. Hotel Slamic is a perfect place to start your adventure.

Honestly, it’s hard to find something wrong when an establishment like this goes over and beyond to please their guests. This hotel makes Slovenia even more special and a place we want to return to.
Everything was fantastic! Every staff member showed exceptional kindness and hospitality. Wish I could have brought them home with me! For example, I asked for hot water from the bar almost every other night and the hot water accidentally splashed on a waiter’s hand. I asked, “Is your hand okay?” He replied, “don’t worry , it’s part of the job.” The breakfast servers were genuinely interested in making sure you enjoyed your meal. Breakfast was delicious and we looked forward to it every morning!

It was a great experience
The room and check in service was exceptional. We also had dinner on the premises and the food was really great. The location was really central and the staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating.

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Slamič, the stay was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. Complete and delicious breakfast. I would advise adding typical slovenian sweets to breakfast!

Best place of all my Euro road-trip in Q1 2025. First of all, Ljubljana is just one incredible city. Top five in all my trips to Europe. The place is perfect, has a tiny but super cool bar at the front. A beautiful restaurant on the second and the rooms and shower... Simply fantastic. Breakfast is TOP, seriously, the best I've tried so far after the pandemic. Staff was sensational and the location unbeatable... Really, I'm dying to plan a new visit.

Perfect stay! We stayed there on the last day of february so got the free parking spot, which was great. Everyone from the staff was amazing. Amazing breakfast- fresh, well done, well organized. The room was modern and very spacious (I think we might have gotten a free upgrade since it really looked huge for what we have paid)

It's just a detail, but it would be great if the rooms had an iron and slippers.
We had a great experience here. Staff was very kind and friendly. We LOVED the breakfast! The location is great and is within walking distance to the city center.

The bathroom and toilet are separate, and in the toilet, there is no sink, so you have to go to the bathroom to wash your hands. Toilet paper is placed on the floor.
It was very clean, close to the city with a great breakfast. They have a smaller parking but it was very good. The location of the hotel is perfect, not too close to the city, so it is very quiet and nice, but not too far so you can walk and it is easy to go to highway so you can visit other places.
