Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesThe hotel is quite old and many parts of it feel outdated, particularly the rooms and hallways. While the rooms are large, the décor and furniture are in need of renovation. Some areas smell musty, and the air conditioning can be noisy. The elevators can also be very slow and crowded, especially since the hotel is popular with tour groups and non-guests visiting the observation deck or restaurants. While the location is near the night markets, there were less food options nearby aside from the halal restaurants and street foods.
My friends and I stayed at Baiyoke Sky Hotel in Pratunam and the location was perfect, right in the heart of the night market. It’s just a short walk to major shopping spots like Platinum Mall, Big C, Palladium, and Central World. Super convenient if you're in Bangkok for shopping or exploring the local street food scene. For anyone coming to Bangkok to shop or explore the city, this hotel is in a prime spot. The hotel itself is one of the tallest buildings in Thailand, and the views from the upper floors are absolutely stunning, especially from the rotating observation deck. Our room was spacious and clean, with all the basic amenities provided. While some areas of the hotel feel a bit dated, the service was warm and professional throughout our Breakfast was served at one of the high-floor restaurants and included a wide variety of option, both Thai and international. Waking up to a city view and enjoying a good breakfast was definitely a highlight. I'm also glad they have an ATM machine in the hotel lobby so I don't have to risk going outside to withdraw money. Overall, I’d recommend Baiyoke Sky Hotel for travelers looking for a centrally located place with easy access to shopping, food, and transportation. It's not ultra-modern, but it offers great value and a memorable Bangkok experience.

South AfricaNight duty manager was extremely unhelpful and pointless being on duty. Unwilling to communicate with us when we were in a hopeless situation , and very bad attitude compared to the day shift management. Outside taxi service next to hotel are rip offs and lie about the deals they offer you. Then change the deal mid way in your destination. Lower rooms need to be developed for the price they are charging , our first stay lower room had a damp smell - 2802 compared to 5804 which was better.
Breakfast selection was excellent. Porter staff were phenomenal , location was good.

United KingdomBecause there’s so much to do at the hotel, it’s always very busy with people not staying there. So can be a wait to get into lifts/through the lobby etc. but wouldn’t stop us from booking again
Great location, big room, staff are so friendly and helpful. There’s so much to do in the hotel if you’re looking to do something after a long flight without travelling

United KingdomJust a warning that a the hotel offers free drinks or merch for leaving reviews. If it’s got a staff member’s name in the review then it’s probably been paid for by the hotel. The hotel is nice enough that they really don’t need to do this. The hotel has a lot of changes going on. Some floors we were sent to were completely empty or closed for maintenance. Staff didn’t seem to know this and kept sending us to the wrong place. Potentially these changes are pretty recent which is why staff don’t know yet (there are a lot of floors to keep track of). Also if you book dinner then watch out because they stop allowing people in at 9pm. Pool is also pretty basic for such a great hotel. Would love to see more entertainment on the other floors. Really not much to complain about!
Dinner on the 82nd floor was amazing, a little expensive for Thailand but still very cheap compared to prices in the UK. Well worth it! Similarly the range of options for breakfast was also outstanding. The beds were super comfy and we had a fantastic view, even though we were in one of the cheaper rooms. Definitely worth staying at this hotel at least once just for the experience. Staff were always super friendly and always keen to help. We loved that the hotel includes a spa, pool and small golf course as well as several restaurant options

MauritiusIf you want to have everything at your door step, book this hotel and enjoy the Bangkok experience. To go to all big malls like Platinum, central world and MBK etc even Big C and all, it's just like walking distance of 10-30 mins. One is like 10 mins away, other one can be like 20 mins away etc. even if you need to go to places like clubs and crazy night life , it's simply tuktuk of 5-10 mins and go crazy once you are there in the night clubs. This hotel will give you what you need and also when you sleep, you sleep peacefully and have real rest !
