The lighting in the rooms was quite dark, especially the bathrooms. There was not much room in the bar fridge to add our own bought drinks etc as it was full of thier mini bar items.

The location was great. Close to malls, close to train station. It made it easy to get around. I loved the rooftop pool. Having 7 eleven at the bottom of the building was very convenient too.

Great location, close to everything. 7 Eleven right next door so what more could you ask for! Rooms are lovely, very comfortable stay. Pool is also just what you need with great views!

The situation of the hotel is right in the middle of Sukhumvit road activity with lot of shopping mall, restaurants and pubs around. Further more it's near 1 of the main hospital in Bangkok, Samitivej Sukhumvit, so it was very convenient for a medical check-up

Nothing, all was great

The location is amazing in Sukhumvit street near skytrain and shopping malls, there are many places near in walking distance. Staff is nice, facilities are fine, nothing extraordinary (what you’d expect in any city hotel)

2 things that can be better: I can hear when a neighbour (upstairs?) flushes the toilet and the gym is small and basic for strength(has weights from 1 to 25kg dumbbells) but can get by if the price is decent.

I actually liked everything about the hotel and if the below 2 points can be improved, I would stay there every single time I go to BKK as the location is perfect - just 5 mins walk to bts, Emquartier mall and the best massage (Asia Herb) with lots of small eateries and coffee places nearby. The bed is comfy too.

Bangkok traffic was horrendous. Streets were like a car park with nothing moving! Unfortunately whilst we were there Bangkok suffered an earthquake or at least very substantial aftershocks which caused all the trains, restaurants, shops etc to close down. The Mercure shut down the roof top bar and swimming pool for safety reasons but the restaurant on the 8th floor was still operating so we managed to get a very good meal in there.

The hotel was excellent. Housekeeping was brilliant and the staff were very friendly and professional. Fabulous location, right by shopping mall and train station. We had never been to Bangkok before but staying at the Mercure made it all the more special.

Location was convenient - within a few minutes' walk from Phrom Phong BTS station, and also Emporium and EmQuartier shopping malls. Lots of F&B options nearby. Room was clean, modern and comfortable enough. Staff were friendly. This hotel is connected to the Ibis Sukhumvit 24 at the lobby level.

The room service a bit slow as well as the cleaning was late in the afternoon.

I have nothing worth to complain about, only if you want to be picky, you can say that the room didn’t have hair dryer, everything was good, you cannot complain, even the price , 400€ for 5 nights?! Common, this kind of hotel in Europe would be 400€/ night. This hotel is very very good and good value.

Room was clean, staff amazingly nice, the breakfast super complete with a lot of options. It is a modern building, it is located near a major shopping mall if you are into that. The building is very well sound proofed which is necessary as the hotel is located by a principal avenue where traffic jam is happening during all day. You have a lot of taxis and tuk-tuk that can take you to monuments or other modern attractions, you can take in consideration that you are average 8km from everywhere but the traffic jam is a nightmare, so don’t use taxis, they will rip you off, use instead “grab” app for taxis, you can even be transported by moto if you are a solo driver and that will be super fast to make sou arrive everywhere and cost absolutely nothing, just a couple of euros .

I wish the rooftop pool would have been open a little longer in the evening.

Such a great stay in Bangkok! Easy access to the skytrain, Emporium mall and the foodcourt across the street and many places to walk and enjoy the city life in a walking distance. Special thanks to the staff at the reception (Ae) and housekeeping for making the stay so enjoyable. Until next time!
