Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandThe amount of photoshoots from others guests was extremely cringe, have never seen so many people on their phones in a pool. It would be great if the property opened the rooftop pool slightly earlier!
I was apprehensive staying here because of the reviews but so glad we did, it is an incredible property and we had a lovely experience. Check in was smooth and we were lucky to receive a slightly early check in as our room was available. The property is extremely picturesque and staff were great. Breakfast was good. Although cape panwa is an isolated area of Phuket we personally loved being away from the touristy areas - Ao Yon Beach is stunning and much better than any of the main beaches. It was a very cheap taxi ride to reach the main areas if needed.

AustraliaThe pool was amazing exactly like the photos. The location was bit far from Phuket city but you can easily book taxi. The rooms are not fully insulated you can hear people talking. The bed was not that comfortable. However good value for money.

United KingdomThere is not much around at all, the street it’s located on there’s only 1 cafe and 1 restaurant meaning we had to get taxis around.
Stunning hotel, good pool areas with the main pool and a rooftop pool with a bar. Facing the beach and very relaxing.

PortugalThe breakfast was nothing to write home about, I expected better from a hotel like this. In the rooms they only had one towel for each person, meaning they didn't have hand towels or face towels, which isn't convenient.
The hotel is incredible, truly beautiful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool on the rooftop and the surrounding area are small, I thought they would be bigger, but it's comfortable to be in, always with ambient music.

PolandRooms don’t have any closet Breakfast is very limited and closes as 10:0 sharp Hotel doesn’t have any attractions apart from the pool itself Beach is across the street, there are no sunbeds, it’s a public beach so you have to take everything with yourself It’s far away from the night markets , in order to get anywhere you need to take a bike or a taxi, as it’s not a flat area and a long road up and down
Pool was great :) Sea is very nice in that area

United KingdomOur flight landed before the check-in time. The reception area was filled with luggage from guests who had also arrived early (before the 3 PM check-in). There was no designated luggage storage room near reception, so the area became overcrowded with suitcases. The hotel seemed to attract a lot of 'influencers'—everywhere we looked, there were iPhones filming and constant photo-taking throughout the day. This took away from the sense of relaxation, as many guests were preoccupied with their phones.
The rooms were clean, comfortable and well sized. Having a morning coffee on the balcony that overlooked the swimming pool was a lovely way to start the day.

SlovakiaThe location of the hotel is a little bit further from any facilities, you have to walk about 6 min up the hill to the nearest restaurant and another 6 min to a smaller town, where you can find shops, restaurants and some stalls, but the beach in front of the hotel is excellent.
Staff was very friendly, breakfast was very tasty, room was excellent, the swimming pool was very nice and interesting, but in the pictures it looked bigger, the beach in front of the hotel was perfect. We liked our stay there.

NetherlandsFirst day I came to check in, i was early. Incheck time is pretty late 15 o’clock, but no problem. I could leave our luggage safely is the lobby. Next day we noticed our hoodies that where on our luggage was not brought to the room and they didn’t even looked properly with for us to find it. We just got an simple answer ‘sorry, don’t have it’. How can two hoodies magically dissappear?
Very beautifull hotel. Staff could be, atleast try or make it look like they want to be more helpfull.

BulgariaThe main issue we encountered was the humidity, due to the bathroom being integrated directly within the room. The hotel is quite popular on social media, which results in the pool area being constantly crowded with people taking photos—this was a downside for us
The hotel is nice and well-kept.

United KingdomThe reception staff weren’t amazingly welcoming but you can see they are very in demand and busy so definitely have a lot to deal with. Many comments have been unhappy with the location, which is something that you should research beforehand. It’s a good location for a quiet few days as there isn’t much going on in the surroundings. They don’t serve any drinks at the pool until 11am, which is a bit strange but you do have drinks in your room. The pool area states it doesn’t open until 10 but we came back to find the area completely full, so perhaps this needs to be a rule with less tolerance or a rule that is completely removed.
A great place to stay for a quiet few days in Phuket. Both pools look as good as they do online, very well maintained and clean. The kayaks are a fun bonus to go with the river type pool. The hotel is very clean, food and drink is surprisingly an okay price for what you’d expect in a hotel of this level. There are a couple of surrounding restaurants if you don’t want to eat in the hotel restaurant only, the seaside restaurant as you come out to the right sells great food at a really good price compared to everywhere else nearby. The rooms are modern and luxurious with complimentary items such as coke and sprite daily. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve stayed in in my month in Thailand. Find most beds in Thailand are quite hard, this bed was soft and you sunk into it. The staff specifically serving food and drink were friendly and attentive. I’d love to stay here again and I’m very surprised by other people’s reviews…

New ZealandI didn’t like that i was given the room across from the restaurant. It was a pool access room but everyone in the restaurant could see into my room unless i had the blinds closed. Inconsiderate party goers on the roof bar at night time. Other peoples kids screaming and being loud at night time.
Wifi was good. Even there was no microwave in the rooms i was allowed to use the kitchen one.
