Outdoor bathroom with insects. I just dont like insects, but what can I do. The hotel is in "nature" surrounded.

The hotel has everything I wanted. Bed is comfy. Food, all dishes were delicious. Taste very authentic Thai food. I dont need to go out from the hotel to look for something else good. Kati cafe with sea view is beautiful and drinks are good.

We should have stayed longer at Shantaa Koh Kood and less on Koh Chang. A TV would have been nice for the children especially on the rainy day but we compromised.

The grounds of the resort were amazing and well looked after, we loved our walks around the resort. The water was very clear at the resort as well as near it. We enjoyed the free kayaks which allowed us to paddle past several other resorts. The food was amazing at the resort.

The staff could sometimes be a bit less service-oriented than you’d expect in a resort at this price range, but it somehow adds to the experience of Koh Kood. Otherwise everything was great. Would have maybe been nice for it to be adult only but it didn’t matter too much for our stay.

Truly 5 stars! This was obviously a resort designed for privacy and the guest in mind. The experience was tailored to the tee and you could feel that. The room was impeccably designed for comfort and there were so many aspects of the hotel that delighted us in many ways

No laundry service, but they will happily help organise an external company to come and collect your laundry.

Serene environment. Beautiful rooms and shared spaces. All the rooms are spread out so it often feels like you have the place to yourself. The food was consistently excellent and the staff were very switched on.

The resort was breathtaking. We stayed in a Sweet that overlooked the ocean. The room was clean, bed was luxurious, and the entire experience was beyond what we could have hoped for. We rented a motorbike for the day and explored the island and the waterfalls. We will be coming back to this paradise on earth.

We had a magical stay at Shantaa Resort. Special mention to all the staff, they were impeccably mannered, very welcoming and went out of their way to help, thank you for making our stay such a joy. The resort itself is a gem in Koh Kood, facilities, rooms and landscaping have the wow factor, it was a true privilege to be able to experience it. I would highly recommend it to everyone, even if just for lunch. Only minor point is the resort beach which is rocky and contains plastic/rubbish unfortunately.

Exquisite setting in beautiful bird filled gardens, plentiful different areas to relax, the staff go out of their way to assist, they organized free transfer to the ferry, the restaurant food is so fresh and flavorful, we ate their most days, wastage minimization is encouraged, beautiful outdoor bathrooms filled with plants, jbl wifi speakers. We used a taxi for 1200 baht for 4 hours to take us to bang bao and the fishing village at ao yay. Good roads for running, stunning snorkeling. Amazing stay.

Shantaa is paradise on earth. Truly a hidden gem tucked away in most beautiful nature. Very authentic, serene and spacious place. We stayed in Shantaa Extra Sweet Villa and everything was perfect. Everything !! The staff are totally amazing the lady (unfortunately we didn’t get her name) who is on reception .. is just outstanding, kind and professional. Food in the restaurant is the best on the island . Breakfast was absolutely fantastic.

Mainly the fact that it is almost always fully booked. We only managed to get 2 nights here at Shantaa, but we promised ourselves we will come back for more. Do plan ahead and if you want to visit Koh Kood this stay is a must.

I wish I could stay here forever :D The experience at Shantaa was the pinnacle of our holiday. Everything was absolutely perfect - from the staff interaction, to the comfy room and astounding view from our Sweet bungalow and the wonderful sunsets, the breakfasts and the dinners, and the coffee and the matcha :D and I could go on and on. It's a great value for money and it provides you with a retreat-like experience - an immense land area with countless palms and beach amenities and access to a peaceful and lovely laguna. So if you're into absolute relaxation, this is the place for you.

I wouldn't say I don't like it, but just wanted to mention that it's a bit pricey, but it's totally worth it!

My experience at Shantaa was incredible. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were very good. The resort is beautiful and super clean. The view is breathtaking. 100% recommended 👌

Beautiful resort. Reasonably priced. Great massages, we wish we were told about them on check in as they were great. Food is good quality and reasonably priced. Decent included breakfast. We are staying at another resort on koh kood that is 25% cheaper but next time we would stay longer ar shantaa
