Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NorwayThe food in the restaurant could be better, and the pressure in the shower could absolutely use an upgrade - but these are minor details. Be aware that if you want to explore Phi Phi, this might not be the best place to stay as you are quite remote and you have to take a taxiboat which can be expensive and stop before midnight.
Arriving by Longtail-boat to The Cove was amazing. Super friendly and helpful staff, and the views are absolutely insane. The beach bungalow was literally right on the beach, and provided unobstructed views of the Andaman sea.

United KingdomThe beach is very nice as you would expect except , please clean up the rubbish, the other beach is worse with construction going on, im a runner so doing many loops of the paths was a challenge , if you think your fit , this will test you - enjoy its not a dislike , its something you need to know
Transfer via longboat - 20 mins fab - Tropical setting in general , total isolation , views from restaurant , great service , so despite my comments below this is so different its well worth booking , ps. you will need to get off boat onto beach into water , so bring flip plots or something for that, Good breakfast is in with cost. they will take you to your room via buggies (its steep) Challets are Amazing Truly the Jungle feel - Enjoy

NetherlandsThe hotel is secluded and the only way to access it is by boat. There is a restaurant on the property however the food was quite expensive and not the greatest quality. The beach at the hotel is not the best as it’s very rocky and a lot of trash gets washed up.
The location is beautiful and very serene. The room was very spacious and comfortable with incredible views.

United KingdomWould be nice to have a pier as you’ll get absolutely soaked boarding a boat in stormy weather. During a rainy day there is little to do. There is no lounge area, so you’ll only have your bungalow and the restaurant to sit in. The see bottom near the shore is somewhat rocky, so you’ll have to look around a bit to find a good spot to swim.
Nice location with the beautiful beach surrounded by the jungle. You can take a hike through the jungle to the viewpoints. May be challenging for some, especially on a wet day, as there is a pretty steep elevation. Definitely bring insect repellant with you and plan the walk to return before dark. There are also snorkelling spots nearby with absolutely gorgeous views. The bungalow we stayed in was spacious and clean with daily cleaning service. Sometimes, there is wildlife on the hotel’s territory. We’ve seen a monkey, a lizard, crabs and frogs. So don’t forget to close the door to your bungalow if you don’t want them inside. The staff were very nice.

United KingdomWould be ideal to have plug sockets nearer the beds, but can appreciate that can’t always happen. And the shower/water pressure was quite low.
Very friendly staff, especially the buggy driver we had and the wonderful man with the north face bucket hat who was very lovely. The location is amazing, out of the hustle and bustle of the main Phi Phi area. It was just calm, relaxing and peaceful to be in the jungle and near the sea.

United KingdomThe breakfast was very basic and only had 3 options to choose between every morning. The quality was good, but some variety would have been a plus.
We had an amazing 2 nights staying at The Cove! Ahead of arriving in Phi Phi the resort contacted us regarding the times that we could pick up a boat to take us round to the resort (only accessible by Longtail boat), this was really useful to know so we could plan our arrival time into Phi Phi. We stayed in one of the beach-front bungalows and it was glorious. Despite the simplicity of the room, we had everything we needed, including a beach-front view to wake up to. It was very quiet and we almost always had the beach area to ourselves. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and welcoming.

IsraelOur room was located uphill, so every walk to the restaurant and the beach had to be a calculated move. As the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, you should expect some "visitors". In our case cockroaches. I think that in these cases the staff response is what matters. In our case the staff responded amazingly, immediately changed our room (and improved our location). As we mentioned the restaurant was great, but also not cheap - prepare your pocket to pay at least 220 bhat for a dish...
A quiet gem where the jungle and the ocean meet. The staff were welcoming us so well, and took good care of us. We got upgraded to a better room, which surprised us and leveled up our stay. Food and drinks were amazing. An amazing opportunity to take your chances with the Thai kitchen and try the local dishes. Yami! The hotel's beach is located on a rich reef - so snorkeling is a must, as well as giving good care to the gentle lives underneath your feet.

AustraliaNo pool and sometimes the tidal nature of the beach makes it hard to swim. Breakfast is a little basic for a Thai resort. The only walk out is a very steep track which takes you to the lookout, but the track is not maintained making it very hard to walk towards the top and it’s easy to lose the way. I’m afraid I can’t recommend it.
The location and surrounding scenery are amazing. Rooms are large and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful although they don’t have a lot of English.

United KingdomWas a bit tired. Brown bedding was a little off putting. The cove is full of sea urchins. We saw another couple ask if it was safe. Receptionist said yes just mind the boats. Might have been good to mention the sea urchins too though! A restaurant which was pretty quiet only a couple of people in the evening. We enjoyed it but could see for longer than one night it would be pretty boring. No evening entertainment. The boats would rack up money wise to get back and forth! It’s about 20mins to get to the cove on the boat. You land in water so make sure you bring shoes which you can take off easily.
The view was gorgeous. Waking up for the sunrise was pretty special. I can’t state enough how beautiful the view is! Quiet and peaceful. Very tranquil. Food was good. Drinks were also good. Staff were friendly.
