Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe sauna was not very warm, and there weren't any hooks in the hotel room, so we had to improvise where to hang towels and bath robes.
Food options were solid and varied, the hotel room was spacious and extremely comfortable, the staff were lovely. Wonderful short weekend break. Several nice places to tuck into a drink or a good book between dips in the pool and ocean. First time doing this sort of all-inclusive experience and it was really extremely pleasant. Facilities were all well maintained and tidy and well updated.

IrelandWe are pescatarian and we felt the food on the first two days was really lacking and not good quality. It was very quiet in terms of guests those days and I think it really impacted the food. The second two days the food got so much better and we wondered was it because there were more guests. We didnt find the staff to be that helpful. We weren’t given a proper overview of how everything works such as full access to the sister hotel or how to get towels. It took 20 minutes on the first day to figure out how to get pool towels. Another day we asked for more shower gel and we were still in the room 1h30 later with no sign. We tried again later that night and again no luck. While there is the restaurant along with a pizza and crepe bar, there were no other snacks available and not a store onsite. The indoor pool and spa were also disappointing. The pool space was heated but not the pool itself. The sauna also only fit 3 people at a time which made it difficult to get a spot. While the hammam was spacious there wasn’t a lot of steam.
We were upgraded to a suite which was incredibly spacious and comfortable. Everything was incredibly clean and modern. The main pool and outdoor areas were very nice and felt luxurious. Being there during off season meant it was super quiet and relaxing, and also meant we could easily chill at the pool but can imagine during the summer for it to be insanely busy. Having access to as many drinks as you want was also a bonus!

TunisiaWhen we went there we were surprised that my son, 10 years old, was charged as an adult ??? When we raised a claim, the feedback was that above 6 years old, the child is considered as an adult as per their policy ???? It's our first time that we hear this. For information, the previous year we were there and my son was not charged at all (he was 9 years old)

GermanyUnfortunately, there's no toothpaste or iron in the room. Not a big deal, but a small suggestion for next time. I didn't like the fact that the burkini was not allowed. I'm not a hijabi, but if I want to wear one one day, I can't go there anymore. Hygiene excuses are not legitimate. In Germany, there are the biggest wellness spas in the world, and burkini is allowed there. I don't think any other hotel cares more about hygiene than this resort.
The room was perfect, we found almost everything we needed and the staff were very friendly. The buffet was varied and good. What I liked most was that there are yoga classes with a great teacher and the place where you do it is so relaxing and has a beautiful view of the beach.

TunisiaHowever, there were a few things that I disliked. - The food buffet during the weekend was downgraded, and it didn't meet the standard considering the pricing. - Another disappointment was that we didn't get to benefit from the spa and the restaurants à la carte, even though they were supposed to be part of the ‘'all-inclusive package'’ from the first day of our stay until the last day. The hotel claimed they were fully booked… -Additionally, we found it unfair that we had to pay the same price for both adults and our 8-and 11 year-old kids when comparing it to other five-star hotels
Overall, it was a good experience at this hotel. I particularly liked the location and the facilities, including the outside garden, the beach, and the rooftop bars with their music (group band Friday and Saturday) and their variety of cocktails and drinks.

United KingdomThe SPA has a very poor service not at the level of the rest of the hotel which has a high quality service. I found the SPA staff very little welcoming, not presenting their services and not keen on answering our questions. It was a disappointment.
I liked the professionalism and kindness of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms. The garden around is well taken care off which was very nice to see.
