Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SerbiaThis was one of the best stays we had so far. Everything was great, and the most amazing people. Such a sincere hospitality is truly rare. We were four adults and a two year old kid. We got the family apartment - two bedrooms and a living room with a kitchen. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. The location is perfect - we almost haven't used transportation at all, everything is a walking distance - some 15 minutes walk to Grand Bazar, Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and Topcapi Palace. Galata tower is some 3km away, and we also walked there. Şok market is near, as well as many restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries... The neighborhood itself is a bit on the pricier side - if you don't mind walking a bit further, you can find restaurants and street food shops for more or less half the price. Overall, one of the best trips, stays and great value for the money. Thank you for this wonderful experience, and I really hope we'll be coming back soon ❤️

GermanyThe apartment was fine for 4 people. It was possible to cook using the kitchen. There are shops available in the area to buy food. Walkable distance to the historical city centre. It was a bit complicated to get there with the luggage, as the street goes up a hill.

GermanyThe souterrain room can get quite noisy at times because of the street noise and the fact that the cleaning room is next door. For me it wasn't a big problem but if you are noise sensitive keep it in mind. The Hotel offers an Airport Shuttle to IST for 60€ which I find very pricey compared to other options.
The Residences are located in Sultanahmet, just a couple of minutes walk from the Ayasophia and Blue Mosque. It is surrounded by numerous restaurants and cafes but keep in mind that it is a touristy area which others may like, others don't. You can also walk to the Çemberlitas tramway station from where you can easily connect to Karaköy. Hence, location wise it is an ideal place to explore the touristic parts of Istanbul. The room itself was clean and comfortable, everything was there even hairdryer and toiletries. Always when I went out I found my room cleaned and tidied up.

LatviaWe could hear the neighbors upstairs very well, almost every step on the floor, but we were lucky that they were quiet. :)
Everything was very good. We stayed in March, when the nights are still cold - the room was very warm and the heating worked. The kitchen was small, but well equipped enough to make simple meals or breakfast. The city center is within walking distance, the street next to the house was quiet.

MoldovaNext time, I think I'll pay more attention and read the booking details more carefully. There were a few little things here and there, but when I asked for an extra chair, the owner happily provided it, which was great. Also, getting an extra pillow upon request was a nice touch! 😊
The room was super clean and cozy, perfectly located in a great spot! The owner was incredibly friendly, always ready with helpful tips and even willing to make a call for you if needed. Felt really welcomed! 😊

RussiaA great place to stop in Istanbul. We walked around the entire Fatih district. There are many main historical sites of Istanbul nearby. The steep slopes on the way to the hotel simply enchanted us. It was exotic and unforgettable. The view of the sea opened up below. The place is just perfect, at the same time quiet. We enjoyed everything at the hotel. The room is as in the photo. The entire design of the room and furniture is in the same style. It was nice to be there. Room 301 on the second floor for three people. There was plenty of room. We were lucky with the neighbors, so the hotel was quiet too. There was nothing wrong with the hot water. The watering can in the shower is large and comfortable. Very comfortable mattresses. The room is warm and comfortable, the batteries are hot. You can open the windows at night. So we all slept great. There was everything necessary for life (there was only no toothpaste), but we had our own. The room has a kitchenette: a microwave, a kettle, a touch stove, a sink, a refrigerator, and enough dishes for cooking. The A-101 store (a popular Turkish supermarket) is 5-7 minutes away (from the hotel down to the first left turn, then go straight ahead. The store will be on the right). The staff is always friendly. Cleaning and towel change every day. Islam speaks English at the reception, Karina (cleaning) speaks Russian.

United KingdomMy room had the following minor issues: - No temperature control on the radiators -- they are either very hot or cold. - The closet was not stable, it almost fell down a few times. Keep an eye on the kids. - The kitchen cold water faucet is located in such a way that it is impossible to turn on the cold water completely. - The toilet lid does not fit properly. - The hotel is in a low-lying area so it may be difficult for someone to get uphill.
- The hotel is located in a quiet location. - Easy access to the historic center, shops nearby. - Convenient access to the airport (12 minutes walk to M2, transfer to M11). - Although my bed didn't look comfortable from the outside, it was very comfortable to sleep on. The pillows were just the way I like them). - Daily housekeeping in the rooms. - There is a playground nearby.

FranceThe size of the room for 6 people was a bit stuffy with just one bathroom + toilet to share. But I would stay here again if travelling with fewer people.
The location was absolutely wonderful! You could see the sea from the streets nearby, walk to all the monuments in the area and even the grand mosque. Yet, the property managed to be in a quiet corner where you could getaway from the chaos of the touristy areas.

FranceThere is a kitchenette, unfortunately not equiped (no knifes, spoons etc.), so we could not even make a soup or drink a coffee with sugar. Asking for spoons ended in a "very direct" YOK. As well, the room was only maintained only once in 5 days (towls changed, bed arranged etc.).
Nice hotel, very near to the city center and all comodities and touristic sites, there were normal shops and restaurants around (no tourist traps), tram station can be reached within 10-15 min (uphill !) we had been lucky that our room was quite, towards the backyard, as the environment is quite crowdy, quite some traffic bathroom was tidy, beds were comfortable access via code worked very well
