Couldn’t get the sitcom to work but managed with open windows. Someone closeby worked with a jackhammer most of the one night.

Very conveniently located close to Gulhane Park and all the major tourist attractions. In a quiet street

I could hear the visitors upstairs quite well, which was not ideal when I was trying to go to bed after a busy day of exploring the city. The plumbing was not great and was also very audible, woke me up more than once.

The staff was friendly and helpful, gave some tips on where to go and answered any questions I had about anything. Yemen (I hope I wrote his name correctly) was of exceptional help and we had some great conversations with him! The breakfast was great, lovely selection of local cheeses, meats. They had lovely olives and sweets too!

    Bathroom needs renovating.

Three minutes walk to Hagia Sophia (very easy for morning prayer) and also Gulhane Park (very beautiful jogging place across the park to the waterfront). Very close to other main attractions (Topkapi, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, etc etc). Laundry nearby.

Given we knew that this is a hotel which is in its age with traditional wooden windows, it perfectly met our expectations.

Very helpful staff, super proximity to major sightseeing items of Fatih, proximity to T1. Super price-to-value, especially taking into account served breakfast.

I think the only thing is that the pictures in the add are different from the rooms we got. Also, when we arrived we had to sleep in different rooms and then change for the second night. They explained they had a bee problem and they were cleaning the actual room that would be assigned to us. Not a problem, just a minor trouble.

Everything. The location was wonderful. The rooms were clean, pretty and confortable. The breakfast (not included, but we paid separately) was delicious, and the woman serving the breakfast super nice and friendly. They also helped with the transfers to and from the airport.

The house is wooden so you hear neighbors from above walking, and the music outside. The room is a bit tight and the shower is not that large. I guess this is normal for old, historic houses right in the city center in Europe.

Amazing location right next to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Tall ceilings and overall historical feel of the house. Friendly staff.

In the early hours of the morning the noise starts with dishes and on the staircase. Also, a big disadvantage is that the light in the apartment is weak. And the only mirror is small one in the bathroom. Which will significantly complicate the preparation of 3 girls. 😁

Excellent location. The beds were very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Big 10 for them.

What we did not like is the smell of humidity due to the specific location of the apartment - the ground floor Yet, having opened the windows in the both rooms we got the air flow through, after which the smell disappears. The second factor - just to know: the ground floor windows. In the street they have coffee tables and chairs right next to the windows. People love to sit there and talk loudly :-), especially in the morning. Do not forget to shut the window if you do not want to be woken up by somebody's talk.

The location and overall appearance of the building are cool. Aside from the main street, the hotel is quiet, except for the evenings, when the nearest bar starts playing music (not very annoying actually, and they finish by 10 PM). We bought the ground-floor apartment, that was big enough - two rooms facing opposite sides of the building: "living room" faced the road, the bedroom - backyard with all the AC stuff and other noise-makers. By the way, windows provide good sound isolation when shut - rather comfortable sleep at night. The stuff let us in two hours earlier the official check-in time. We appreciated that,.

I booked a standard twin room bed, but they told me that someone extended his stay, so the room I booked is not available and they gave me a double bed one. It's ok but I especially booked in this hotel to have a twin bed and it's not my problem that someone extended his stay, they should let me know in advance that the room is not available. Also it was told it's a big double bed, but it was a classic one. Besides that it was more than ok for the price

I stayed at this hotel for 7 days, and at first, I was very pleased with the location and the room, which were perfect. The only small downside was the cleaning, especially the floor, which wasn’t vacuumed during our entire stay. However, this wouldn’t have prevented me from giving a great rating. Unfortunately, everything was ruined because of a very disappointing incident: my perfume was stolen from my suitcase. When I reported it to the receptionist on the last day before leaving, his response was absolutely non-existent. He showed no empathy and didn’t even apologize. He just listened to me as if it didn’t surprise him at all, and no attempt was made to resolve the issue. This was very disappointing, especially in a setting where one would expect a minimum of professionalism and respect. For those considering staying at this hotel, be careful with your personal belongings. Don’t leave anything valuable in the room, as you can’t rely on the hotel to handle such situations. In summary, although the hotel has some advantages, the complete lack of responsiveness and respect from the staff led me to give it a rating of 1. I won’t be returning.
