Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Wifi in parts of the room not great. This didn’t cause us too much inconvenience though.
Nice and clean hotel; friendly staff. We had a couple of very minor issues that were dealt with immediately once we informed the hotel staff - can’t ask for more than that.

Soundproofing could have been better. The temperature in the room can be set to a minimum of 25C. However its not a major issue as we were there in winter, so if it got too hot, we could always just open the window.
Nice little hotel, good location. Its located a short walk from the metro and tram stops. There are enough restaurants nearby so easy enough to find food during the day.

The rooms were nice and clean. The hotel had a modern look and excellent facilities. Easily could book an uber with no problem for the driver finding the hotel. And walkable distance to the high street. The only thing I would say is the breakfast selection wasn’t big, but overall I would stay at this hotel in the future.

Everything is great, staff, cleanness, the room, food, and location is near public transportation and not in the outskirts. The only serious inconvenience was the wifi, it disconnects and weak most of the time

The room was a decent size and comfortable. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Only downside was the noise insulation quite poor. We could hear a lot of noise coming from other rooms and the corridor

The AC was regulated for temperature between 25 to 30c which was not ideal.
Nice location with access to Metro and Tram which is about 10 mins walk.

The location was not great. It was a 12 min uphill walk from yusufpasa (tram station to get to the major sightseeing spots). It is not really close to anything when it comes to sightseeing which makes food prices lower than the touristy places but the uphill walk is not fun. Breakfast options are rather minimal- addition of yogurt and some pastry items would make it better (breakfast items do not really match the pictures provided). You cannot really control the temperature (only goes down to 25) so it got hot during the day. The taxi driver (yellow taxi) that the hotel arranged for the airport was not very professional but i guess that is beyond their control?
The hotel was rather nice and modern and they cleaned every day upon request. Everything was pretty much as expected and the beds were very comfortable.

No proper travel information leaflets maps etc .
Breakfast was ok, the Ac was set at minimum 25 degree which was very hot and we did not get good sleep

breakfast didn't have cheese sigara boregi taxi was 1600try about £40 from/to Istanbul airport
clean room, loved the walk-in powerful shower, sauna and hammam available in the basement but mixed (not female only like it says on halal booking) 10min walk downhill to M1 station the 1st night we arrived after midnight and were starving and then helped us order food delivery, it was yummy.

The location was a bit off the main road a bit steep but close enough to Fatih mosque and bus stops. But it’s not the hotels fault.
The room was very clean. I stayed with a baby and the staff were extremely accommodating to my needs. Very happy with my stay.
