the problem is i guess in every hotel in this area, the night club noise can be very loud, so the party keep going until 1am- 2 am, don't expect a soundproof.

the location is wonderful, 2 mns to taksim square and istiklal away from the noises of istiklal street during the day. the room was big and clean, they cleaned it everyday. staff are nice , but they dont have enough staff , if you need anything they don't have room service to get it for you, you need to go to reception to get. they upgraded our room as the elevator was not working on the first day and had to give us a room in the 1st floor.but then it worked well. we faced a problem with the toilet at night they directly gave us a key to a room next to us to use the bathroom and then they fixed it directly next day.

When it was cold and windy outside, the rooms would have a cold breeze come inside which made the room really cold(i stayed in both first floor and 4th floor rooms) and it had the same issue

The location is excellent, near the metro and bus station. You can come straight from the airport with the Haviast bus to taksim square and walk for 5 minutes to reach the Hotel, the staff were really friendly and helpful.

I'm elderly with walking problem and hotel required small uphill climb to arrive on Taxim Square. Also the morning chant from local mosque around 06:30 in morning.

Great Good for tourism. Close to restaurants and attractions.

This area is developing now, in several years it will be nice place I guess. Close buildings are being renovated right now, at day time it is noisy ( it didn't disturb us, we didn't stay at the hotel at day time, but for somebody it can be important)

The location is great, close to metro, tram, café, supermarkets, touristic places. Calm at night-time, good mattress and curtains, - good sleep and recovery after intense day. Breakfast is quite fine, basic but freshly cooked.

Breakfast was a bit hectic. I was waiting at a table and a few others that came in after me were served first.

Nice hotel is in a good location. The hotel was very clean and smelt fresh as soon as you walked in the door. The House keepers did a god job, when I put my (Please refresh my room sign on the door) I went back to a nice fresh smelling room. The bathroom was done to a very high standard. I liked the rain shower head, I had plenty of hot running water. The tea tray was basic , with tea, milk, coffee and water.

What’s not to like!!! It is great.

Lovely place. Loyal & always reliable. ‘Fatih’ is exceptionally gracious. The ladies are nice as well. The location is fabulous right there in Taksim square. Most tour buses can either pick you up from there or just walk up to the end of the alley close to the big name Hotels. Definitely worth one full week in Istanbul.

Bed was spacious and comfy, air conditioning system worked well. Hotel located close to Taksim street, but in a quiet neighbourhood.

The bathroom sprays water all over . I also asked for extra towels and was told to go to the reception instead of someone bringing then to our room.

Smaller than expected rooms, and although the staff we always trying to help, yet there is no doubt a language barrier somehow which is a country issue in general rather than being an hotel issue in specific!

The hotel's air conditioning is centrally controlled. Y ou can't set the air conditioning to cool the room if the hotel has set the air conditioning for the hotel to be warm. We had a room facing south towards the sun. We returned one afternoon on a cool sunny day and found the room was very warm because it had trapped the heat of the sun. We set the temperature at 18 degrees to cool the room, but because the centrally controlled air conditioning was set at a warmer temperature,, no cool air came out of the air conditioning vent. This was the explanation given to us by hotel staff when we raised it with them. They said when the weather became warmer, they would set the air conditioning to a cooler temperature to ensure guests in other rooms would not be too cold. This happened the following day when the weather became much warmer and we were able to cool the room using the air conditioning. It wasn't a major problem for us - we opened the window to cool the room when it was too warm. This wouldn't deter us from booking this hotel again - we enjoyed our stay overall - but worth noting for anyone thinking of making a booking.
