Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

EgyptWe booked the basic room so it was tiny, but the views were awesome
The hotel was very nice, staff were so helpful, breakfast was delicious and plenty. The beach had soft music and was quiet. Laundry and pressing was super fast. In total, great stay

United Arab Emirateswe booked a sea view room but to be honest, the whole view was covered by trees and should have not been sold as a room with view. The stairs that take you to the rooms are a mission. If you have any back or other pains you should double maybe avoid.
It was a nice hotel, the breakfast was delicious. We had a room at the hotel next door (Macakizi) but the beach in 81 is much nicer, you can stand in the water and swim to the deck.

CanadaThe only downside for me was the loud music the hotel plays in the evenings, until 1am. If you want to rest and sleep early, this is not possible, as the rooms are close to the hotel lounge.
The hotel is located in the very scenic part of Turkuku and has a direct access to the water through an elegant deck. The hotel staff was frienldy and helpful, including on giving recommendations for restaurants in the town. The food was very good, including the breakfast.

CanadaNo Complaints!
This place is absolute magic! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at No.81. My room, the Deluxe Sea View, had a great view of the bay and the pool. No issues with noise it was serene and peaceful. I got to wake up everyday to a beautiful view and the desk area was well appointed with a lovely view as well. This truly is a pet friendly hotel, I stayed at other properties in Bodrum and nothing has measured up in terms of pet friendliness! The grounds are kept neat and clean, even with the light renovations that were happening. The staff was so attentive! My dog Milos was given a very plush bed, water and food bowls. We, and I do mean we, enjoyed an amazing breakfast. I had to ask for less because I couldn't finish it all! Every dish was delicious and the waiters are happy to give you helpful suggestions. Also the hours for breakfast are perfect for those who want to sleep in. Milos ( dog) was able to sit and dine with me which was great! The beach deck area is perfect for a relaxing swim and getting work done. The bar/garden area during the day is great, at night even better, it has such a great ambiance with the music and fire place! Cocktails in the evening here were great! A huge shoutout to the whole team at No. 81, especially my breakfast waiters who gave such wonderful and attentive service to Milos and myself. Berk Bey, you were such a huge help and a very big thank you to you as well for your attention! You took such great care of Milos and I, we will definitely be coming again to visit!

RussiaBesides from the noise from downstairs club until 1 am night, the hotel close and limit beach access to guests 2 days WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE!!! Also the hotel had 2 big wedding celebrations two days in a row, so the beach club was closed, restaurant does not work for regular guests, all staff was busy. We ordered 1 time room service, they bring wrong salad, and the used cutlery stayed first in our room for 1 day and Housekeeping didn’t take it, however they cleaned the room. We put it outside our room and it continued to stay there for ANOTHER 2 days!!!! We asked about that 2 times at reception, but it doesn’t help at all!
Location is good, but they should inform customers that there in a night club downstairs, and the loud music will be until 1:00 am at night , with NO POSSIBILITY TO SLEEP

United KingdomThe personnel doesnt speak English. Quality of service is much lower then a standard 4 star hotel, let alone 5 star. The service was extremely slow, quality of food slightly above average. The cleaners during the cleaning of the room lost 1 AirPod from my girlfriend. During the cleaning they didn’t top up the soap and other stuff so I had to request it to be brought separately. During the checkout strange charges were associated with our room even though we were out of the hotel at this time. The room paid was supposed to be sea view, yet the only thing visible from the room was a tree right in front of the window, so I am not entirely sure where the extra cost is coming from…
Good location Clean and looked after territory Convenient access to sea

United StatesRooms were fine but fairly basic and nothing special. I was disappointed that I was overcharged after looking at my statement again. The “credit” I had from my pre-booking was at a different exchange rate than the actual stay and they charged me the difference (about 1000 lira).
Beach access / beach club was great. This was the best part of the hotel.

FranceStaff did not speak english so the communication was frustrating. We ordered a fruit salad to our beach beds, they made us go up to the restaurant to eat it. We asked for dry cleaning service, they brought us a small iron and ironing board to our room. The rooms are not very chic - white tiles, white walls and white furniture. The hotel had 0 flexibility with changing dates of the booking. I would not call this a 5-star hotel. Next time, we will just pay a little more and stay at the neighboring Macakizi hotel which is the 5 star experience there.
The food was good and the beach is great.

UkraineYes, the rooms are a little small. And perhaps the bed is not as big as we would like. But these are small things.
Very good small boutique hotel. Wonderful breakfast, very tasty and very good service. The guys are so great. A beautiful beach, one of the best in Turkbuku, and a good and tasty restaurant Daze. A very nice dog lives in the hotel, simply charming. It's nice when the hotel is pet friendly. Good Etro bath cosmetics. Nespresso coffee and water in the room are also a plus.
