You need to climb the hill to get in - but we enjoyed this part of the walk a lot. Moreover / many parts of the city are hills as well.

Very nice place, outstanding breakfast and personnel. Location was great, steep climb to get there though. Great terrace on the top floor with a wonderful view. Recommended place!

The details were weak. Service was variable..some reception staff were incredible and helpful and some were rude and unhelpful. Breakfast staff were lovely and food was good but the incremental charge for seconds was bizarre and was missing water as an offering.

Amazing rooms, beautiful bathroom with everything you need. Lots of nice little details Location ok, but required an uphill walk.

The suites are excellent with timber floors, marble and glass kitchen and fabulous ensuite with heated floors and best-ever shower. We had a corner room which was huge with windows and balconies on both sides and street views. The breakfast was fabulous. Great lobby and staff on reception so helpful. Location was great with easy walk to Galataport, Istikal Street and spice market. Can't fault. Can't recommend more highly.

Very little vegan options at breakfast, we had to eat elsewhere pretty much every morning. Cafés nearby had great options hence we felt this could be improved

The rooftop area could be even more comfortable with a few cushions or lounge furniture.

Very well situated, within walking distance to the main sightseeing areas. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and the breakfast is a little Turkish breakfast feast! Our corner room (king size) was spacious with a little kitchenette and a good view onto the old town. The little rooftop area is an added plus and nice space to sit and watch the buzzing waterways below. All recommendation by the staff for restaurants, hammam etc, where spot on!!

If i have to be picky, then I would say that the breakfast is a bit on the “light” side.

Everything. Quite, great windows keeping out any noise. Area is a great location as Istanbul is a big city. Artistic community with nice shops and located close enough to istanbul’s high street. Incredibly helpful staff. Rooms are big.

There are no words to describe, this hotel, all of the best, are (as my 2nd stay here): ***** Location most sights close and walkable and easy to use local transportation to go where you like, ***** Room 42, spacious, facilities available, small design details, view day-night, tip the elevator, you will have to discover ***** Breakfast, anything you need is there and if not, you can order by staff, as they try and do their best, from all positions either reception - recommendations, either housekeeping Of course, I will choose it again, for next time too.

The staff were remarkable. The front desk staff -- Ozan, Anil and Kan -- were knowledgeable, helpful and amazingly gracious. I lost my wallet in a taxi and Ozan went many extra miles to help me get in touch with the taxi commission to try to find it. The breakfast room staff were also amazing, especially Melissa. Everything about this hotel is just phenomenal. It's beautiful, peaceful and an oasis in the heart of a throbbing city.

Nothing really. Everything was great. I felt at home there after a few days. The bathrooms are perhaps a little ageing, but very minor.

They just got it kinda right for a boutique hotel experience. It’s a cool vibe without being too cool. Great location too, quick walk down to Karaköy for a morning coffee or up the road toward Taksim Square.

We had the most spectacular room (Presidential suite) and view of Istanbul’s from the huge balcony. Every day, the room was flooded with the warm winter sun and we just spent hours watching the beautiful city, the sun set behind Galata Tower. The facilities and comfort of the room were unparalleled. The hotel is a steep walk up from the Main Street , but it’s hardly 300mtrs and you find yourself thick in the action with Galataport right there. Breakfast was very healthy and we liked that it’s a small hotel so very calm during breakfast time.

The rooms were beautiful and extremely well appointed, and breakfast each day was absolutely fantastic. The breakfast staff was lovely and accommodating -- we really liked them. The hotel location is perfect, but one needs to climb fairly steep hills from the metro stop to the hotel, and from the hotel to some restaurants & shopping. It was good exercise!

We have been coming to Witt for 7 years now, it is the only place we’ll stay as a family. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The design all throughout the hotel is beautiful and well thought through. The staff are FANTASTIC! already booked our next stay.
