The bathrooms were a little worn but very clean and well serviced. Lots of stairs so beware - however, there is a golf buggy that can take you around if you need it. The staff will be happy to help.

It was adults only no kids, so quite and realaxing. The fòod was amazing.self service,different theams every nte. Staff were so friendly.we had a private beach.they have a lovely spa.

The resort is wonderful, the cottages and tropical gardens look so beautiful and well-kept. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. I had half board and I can say that the food was very diverse and every evening there was a themed dinner and something new compared to the previous days. Very tasty food, many types of meat, fish, vegetables, pasta. Private and well-guarded beach with fine sand and turquoise water. I'm sorry to leave, but I will definitely come back here. Entertainment each night at dinners might be too much every other night might be better in my view.

From the moment we arrived until the time we left, 11 days later, we had the most amazing holiday, wedding and honeymoon thanks to the hotel and, in particular, its staff. They couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is authentic to Zanzibar. The beach villas are beautifully presented. Whoever thinks the resort needs updating is way off the mark. This is one of the only resorts where you feel a bit of the local culture. Not a soulless repetition of hotels round the world. The resort is spotlessly clean with staff working on the accommodation and grounds all day long. When it came to our wedding, they organised every aspect and was entirely personal to us. With expansive grounds the photo opportunities are never ending. We couldn't have wished for a better hotel for our special day. The restaurants always prepared wonderful breakfasts and varied themed dinners. Lunch on the beach or round the pool was also of the highest quality. We look forward to returning to make more memories and enjoy the hospitality. Keep up the great work!

I do not like a shower curtain, but that is just personal preference, so not really something bad. The rest was all perfect!

The beach, the pool and the restaurant and cocktails were amazing! The rooms are also perfect and the view beautiful! We liked the theme nights at the restaurant, and it is a very kid friendly resort, which was perfect for us! The staff is also very helpful, professional and very friendly!

Even if you book breakfast and dinner, you have to pay for drinks (even non-alcoholic)

the resort is very nice and have a lot to offer. The beach front is beautiful and also the pool area. Service and Hotel personnel are very friendly and kind. Food is great and they offer daily specials.

The resort serves quite an international guest groups, so not having electricity adapters and USB connectors in the rooms it is quite not ok ( we even had them in the safari tents in the middle of nowhere 😉) Staff is very very kind, but for an exclusive resort men have to wear deodorant, not acceptable to have a sweat whiff while being served dinner

Amazing resort. Every detail on the ground in place, palm trees all around. Spacious and clean. Dinner with different themes every night accompanied with live music - African night was the best !!! As we had half-board we ate lunch couple of times, tasty food at good price. Everything in Tanzania is "pole pole" (slowly) so brace yourself for longer(erer) waiting time for anything We travelled around the island and visited few other places too, this was the best by far
