Breakfast was measured up eg English breakfast did not have bacon and baked beans was a spoonful / it may help to offer eg fruit when an item is missing.

The staff are amazing - especially Shuna at the front office. We arrived early and she was welcoming, gave us a room and was generally brilliant. She made us feel very welcome. Loved the Sea front- the beach is exquisite - I loved the lounging chairs by the pool too,

The staff was very friendly and I liked that it was close to the beach. Could actually hear the ocean whilst I was sleeping, which was nice. The owner was very helpful.

Music was a little loud at times

There was one Saturday during my 5-day stay when a big group of tourists occupied the restaurant and the area around, playing very loud music all day. They didn’t care it caused discomfort to other guests (me) and didn’t turn down the music, even though asked several times. The staff - otherwise very nice - was totally unbothered, didn’t want to intervene (or didn’t think they should?). When the group left about 6pm, the music at the pool bar started, with bass so loud that the floor inside the bungalow vibrated. There was literally nowhere to hide from the noise. The staff refused to turn down the music even though there was NOBODY at the bar. Fortunately, as there was nobody, the party didn’t last very long (9.30? 10pm maybe?), but in a village that advertises itself as quiet fishermen village, this is unacceptable. I was particularly disappointed with the manager’s attitude who didn’t seem to care.

I liked a lot of things in the hotel - first of all, it’s right on the absolutely divine beach which was almost empty for the entire time I was there. The bungalow on the beach was very nice (although the bathroom could be cleaner and refurbished a little). Staff friendly and food at the restaurant excellent (although the portions are small and one dish is definitely not enough for lunch or dinner).

Slightly bit let down by the breakfast not having many options but the staff were still accommodating fresh omelettes.

Shunni and Donella created an amazing experience and were always available. The staff were sweet and supportive.

Cons - my water pressure was horrible it would only little bit shower and would stop mid shower I never brought it up until I left and I'm sure the staff would've fixed it I just didn't wanna bother them another con was I ordered a taxi and it showed up an hour later they compensated me for the time delay but as a solo female traveller bit unsafe as I got approached by many men in the airport

The restaurant does require a lot of work food wise. If that is sorted, 5 stars from us. The breakfast was always lovely though but all the other meals need a lot of work!

The location is ideal for a couples get away. There is a lovely private beach just a few meters from the property. Rooms were clean and worth every penny spent! The owner was great, always there to listen and resolve any problems. Kuddos to Paul for a lovely welcome !

The air condition in the room could have been cooler.

They take Pole Pole very serious... Our tea took so long that we cancelled it. Both nights we stayed there , a drunken guy who entered the premises spoiled the atmosphere. Security should have interfered.

Really good place for the money, location is perfect, pool was good, breakfast was good, could be better, but for sure good enough. Staff was really nice and helpfull. The rooms are pretty simple, but for sure they are good enough if you want a place where all the suroundings are perfect and the place is affordable.

A lot of chemicals in the swimming pool, the loud music from 3pm in the pool area was a bit a shame as the location is peaceful and beautiful.

Super friendly staff, very pleasant outdoor area. The AC in our room didn’t work so they very nicely offered to change us room, really appreciate.

The boss and all the staff are very kind. They are very helpful. The food is pretty cheap and very good for that kind of price.

There wasn't a telephone in the room and no 24-hour reception service

The live entertainment on Sunday was amazing. I believe that more has to be done by the owner to advertise it. I had the impression that I was having fun in South Africa. The tunes were so incredible that vsitors from nearby establishments came to take part in the live entertainment at this hotel. That says a lot.
