Everything was really fantastic! The room, the facilities and the staff were brilliant! :) I am gluten free and they even had gluten free pancakes at breakfast one of the days! Additionally, they had gluten free rolls and made a delicious burger for me. They also had lots of activities which you could take part in, the highlight for me was creating my own crown out of bamboo leaves, what a lovely experience!

Our first trip to Zanzibar & a TUI hotel, excellent week & we didn't want to leave. Mr Hassan, F&B Manager, Mr Celestine & Miss Hawa in particular gave 110% superb service, in fact all the staff were very good & security is good too. Room was good, WiFi good, restaurants very good. Definitely recommend this hotel. Our only negative was the beach which at low tide needs cleaning & it would be good if bird deterrent was used as the birds are persistent if you have a table full of food. I appreciate these aren't easy things to fix. Thanks again for a wonderful experience

That we couldn't stay longer

Our stay at Tiu Blue was nothing short of extraordinary. The establishment was spotless, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—no request was too big or too small for them to handle. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly valued. Chef Kabaka was exceptional, his personal service and radiant smile unmatched. He crafted an unforgettable, romantic beachside dinner for us, with the outstanding Deborah ensuring every detail was perfect. Thank you, Chef Kabaka and Deborah! Chef Ali was just as great. Yunus and over 90% of the waiting staff—both at the restaurants and the beach—provided impeccable service (I wish I remembered all their names!). They greeted us with genuine, heartfelt smiles daily that made us feel right at home., Careen, Rashida, and Vera at reception were awesome, The pool was fantastic, and while the beach had seaweed due to the season (a natural occurrence beyond anyone's control), we still enjoyed swimming every day. The resort was packed with activities and games, ensuring there was never a dull moment. The Saturday beach and Tuesday pool side buffet feasts were phenomenal—an incredible variety of delicious food paired with great entertainment. The grab-and-go snacks, water, juice, tea, coffee at reception, and the delightful afternoon treats showed the hotel’s thoughtful hospitality—we were never left hungry! A standout moment was receiving a call the day before our departure to check on our experience and address any concerns—such a considerate touch. Then being allowed to stay and enjoy the resort facilities until our 10:30pm departure time on our checkout day was a cherry on the top. The farewell lounge, complete with a shower and freshening-up facilities, was a thoughtful final gesture that was greatly appreciated. Tiu Blue truly created a perfect retreat for us and exactly what I needed after a year of hardwork with no break. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond to make our stay so special!

Not much. The hotel was very well appointed and maintained. The staff were always very kind and helpful.

The food was really good throughout the day, from breakfast to dinner. Certain restaurants opened and closed at specific times and others needed to be booked in advance. Drinks were always available.

We absolutely loved every minute of it! The TUI Blue staff welcomed us so well from the moment we arrived. We had a great selection of food, activities, areas to relax and things to do throughout our stay - during the daytime and evening. The food was just amazing and as someone who had dietary restrictions, I did not feel limited in the food options! The staff were very friendly and we really appreciated how well the staff responded to us when our room flooded (we were given another room later on in the day, our stuff was moved to our new room, laundry was done free of charge and to top it off, complementary massages were granted to us)!

Accommodation Our Junior Suite with a sea view was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. The comfortable beds, complete with mosquito nets, ensured a restful stay. Impressively, we didn’t see a single mosquito the entire time. Dining Experience With five restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, every meal was a delight. The food was fresh, flavorful, and catered to all tastes. Exceptional Staff The service at the hotel was outstanding, with a team that went above and beyond to make our stay special. Intimate resort. Staff were incredibly friendly. Food was amazing, especially the themed nights. Loved the fact that I could use all facilities on check out day until it was time to catch my flight. They even had shower facilities with all you need that we could use before leaving the resort. Will definitely go back.

The sea wasn't nice to swim, there are a lot of algae, and sea urchins, and the local sellers won't leave you alone. The sound isolation in the room was't good.

The room was comfortable and clean. The buffet was great. There were plenty of vegan options clearly labeled. The pool was large and clean. We used the tennis court every day, and the staff provided the rackets and the balls. In the low tide, the walk on the beach was nice once we got past the local guys trying to sell stuff.

A bit more umbrellas on the beach would have been nice. The locals on the beach offering you everything is a bit overwhelming at times.

It's a fantastic hotel totally worthy for the money - great food, variety, cocktails, different program and performances every day. Room wa spacious and with nice view but we selected on purpose slightly better one.

We had an amazing stay at TUI Blue Bahari in Zanzibar! Our family had a wonderful time, and everything about the resort exceeded our expectations. The rooms were brand new, beautifully designed, and spotless, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options that were always fresh and tasty. What truly stood out was the exceptional staff – everyone was friendly, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. The drinks were top-notch, and the facilities were luxurious, from the pools to the beach areas. A special mention goes to how they made New Year’s Eve extra spectacular – the celebrations were beyond our expectations, creating unforgettable memories. Overall, it was a perfect family getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
