There was nothing we didn’t like.

The Amber’s Inn was perfect for our Holiday get away. After traveling Route 66 From Chicago, IL to Tucumcari, NM and staying in restored Motels from the 1920’s to the 1960’s this Inn fit right in with experiencing what America once was. It is also a restored Motel with lots of charm.

It was a good stay as is. There were some minor signs of wear in the room (e.g., the bathtub), but it was very clean.

This is a cute place at a great price. It has generously sized rooms, which had everything you would really need, including a coffee pot, microwave, and mini fridge. Their cleaning crew is doing a good job—everything was exceptionally tidy and seemed well cleaned. The indoor hot tub was nice, and the water looked/seemed clean. The manager was very pleasant.

Although the rooms are a little outdated, it didn't bother us at all. Rooms were very clean,I liked that there was a separate place to do my hair and makeup outside of the bathroom, there was a hot tub ( public), a very nice staff member to greet us, the outdoors were charming, they offered a fire outside at night and it was great proximity to everything. And super affordable!! Will definitely go back

This is an older drive up motel (making it easier to load and unload) that is clean with spacious rooms, no frills .The location is perfect- away from the downtown area but walkable if you were up for good walk. What is memorable here is the staff and the property- a community feel that is uncommon today. The pool is adjacent to the motel and surrounded by outdoor tables and chairs with umbrellas, a fire pit with a grill, ping pong, badmitton, a mini arcade area for kids, all on lovely and slightly shaded grounds. The pool and the hot tub ( lobby) were open until 10pm. Both were fantastic, with the hot tub truely being hot with a timer. It was mostly quiet after 10pm. Coffee is provided. There is a small microwave and and larger then average motel fridge. We brought our own breakfast items and ate at the table and two wooden chairs provided in the room. This place was a good value, and we were also given two free waterpark passes which was even a better value. The staff at the desk were always cheerful and helpful, and we were told the owner lives on the property if we ever needed anything. The downside here were the beds (worn out) and no seating in the room besides two wooden chairs.There are blackout curtains and the room is dark, however plenty of lighting is available. Being an older property, electrical outlets were few. I will always remember the fun we had here- particularly sitting at the pool listening to the music, as the motel patrons were picnicing, playing ping pong, sitting by the fire, and another summer slips away! The jacuzzi suite we were in was a little disappointing because the jacuzzi was the bathroom. In the photos when we booked it was separate & in the room area. There was a little mold around the tub and one knob was broken off. The room was really clean except a thick layer of dust around the perimeter of the carpet.

The property was well kept, quiet, and in a good location.

I had thought I booked a first floor room, but ended up with a 2nd floor which was a little difficult going up/down since one in our party has COPD and another was recovering from a leg injury. Although there were 4 of us staying, there were only 2 hand towels.

The young woman that checked us in was very nice. The room was a little dated, but clean, and a/c worked great. Cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Clean room and comfortable beds. Front desk staff was great! Beds were comfortable and room was large. Close enough to walk to the downtown but far enough that it was quiet. Nice pool area and outdoor area. Kwik trip is two blocks away, easy walk for morning coffee.

Rooms were a pretty spartan, decor wise. Could stand some more color and mom and pop hotel charm. Need recycle only garbage containers. Dump the shampoo conditioner combo. Beds could be less soft. Could provide coffee and local pastries early in the am. Benches could be ergonomically better.

Pool area was very nice. Also benches and tables outside our room was a nice touch. Grounds well laid out. Rooms were large. Shower good.
